Commercial Description:
Arabier is a pure malt beer brewed with flower Nugget-hops from Poperinge. It has the special dry-hopping taste and aroma, so appreciated by beer lovers all over the world. It is one of the two main beers from De Dolle Brouwers available throughout the year. Aging time is limited due to the fact that hop bitterness declines with age. Store arabier cool and dark and serve cool at 10°C.

Decent malty fruity aroma. Explosive head - not so thick, but nice and big. Very opaque/light orangish in color. This has a truly great flavor with just the right amount of bitter and fruity flavors. A nice dry finish

Hazy cloudy orange with a huge white rocky head and lots of yeast floaties. Spicy, light fruit alcohol pear aroma, full bodied with strong carbonation. Long earthy aftertaste.

Clear gold under a large creamy seething foamy head and sporadic lace. Sediment formed a curious layer of opaque beige between the head and the beer giving the beer a kind of cocktail appearance. Interesting honey, fruity nectar, tropical fruit, light hops, caramel and faint alcohol aroma. Medium body. Big fruity nectar sweet and yeasty start. Strong bitter and yeasty middle that doesn’t quite hold the warming alcohol. Sweeter bitter finish and mild bitter aftertaste.

Insanely large white head covers a slighly hazy golden body. (I poured into a glass that holds a pint and had one finger of beer, the rest of foamy head... after a while I got a bit more in.) Aromas are fruity and floral. Coriander and cloves cover the spicy aspect of things. Yeast and bread are lurking in the background. If you fight your way through all of the foam, in addition to the frothy-looking mustache you now support on your upper lip there is a notably alcoholic warmth and a sweet/sour balance that covers the fruit and malt and spice. Nicely balanced, although there is a bit more alcoholic burn than I expected from 7%. There is also an earthy/wood (oak?)flavoring that helps the beer finish.

Orange/copper. Huge, bubbly white head. Hazy. Bubbly head turns creamy by the end of the pour. Sweet malt, yeast, bit of hops and alcohol in the nose. Big malt up front, smooth and sweet with just enough carbonation to give it a little bite. Hops in the finish and the aftertaste, yeast underlying throughout. Medium/full body. Excellent.

Bottle (thanx to bierkoning !) Cloudy, deep golden coloured, huge creamy concrete head; strong fruity nose: oranges, orange peel, lemons with a big dry touch of hops; stronger bitter-sweet flavour, soft MF, medium bodied; lingering finish: first fruity (citrus-fruit), then lingering dry hoppy, almost a bit tart. Beautiful...........

Pours a massive, rocky white head above a hazy gold elixir. There are some particulates settling to the bottom of the glass. Very sweet and floral nose of greean apple/pear, rich caramel, bubblegum yeast and floral hops. The taste is far more bitter than the aroma would suggest and the finish is very dry. A caramel malt backbone is overlain with sharp, fragrant hops, spice, light fruits and white grapes. The mouthfeel is highly effervescent and velvety smooth.
