Commercial Description:
Arabier is a pure malt beer brewed with flower Nugget-hops from Poperinge. It has the special dry-hopping taste and aroma, so appreciated by beer lovers all over the world. It is one of the two main beers from De Dolle Brouwers available throughout the year. Aging time is limited due to the fact that hop bitterness declines with age. Store arabier cool and dark and serve cool at 10°C.

Wow, a rich nose full of spicy rum soaked bananas, a touch of coriander. Hazy gold with a really big foamy head. Sweet and fizzy, with a warm alcoholic finish. Yeasty bite, and a big hoppy bitterness lingers for quite awhile!

Very yeasty and tart, especially in the finish. Something of a cross between Duvel and a Belgian wit, combined with a grainy mouthfeel. Excellent drinkability, but why drink this when this brewery makes Stille Nacht?

Golden orange in colour, large and lingering white coloured head, excellent retention and lacing. The aroma is of lemons, apples, musty, yeasty, some spice. The flavour is floral, soapy, yeasty, some alcohol, citrus and spice. Medium bitter mouthfeel, medium body, medium/high carbonation. Finishes slightly sweet, lingering with some spice and alcohol warmth.

This is still pretty good but I’m afraid to say that this is starting to fade.

Hazy golden hue with small fizzy head and good lace. The aroma has notes of lemon-lime, orange, toffee malts, barnyard and zesty yeast esters, allspice and a touch of honey. The taste starts sour (grapefruit and apple)and bitter with undertones of fruit, sweet malts, and dusty yeast characters. The finish display some light spices and a hint of wood. The mouthfeel is lively and fizzy with medium-body. Refreshing and no hint of alcohol at all. A nice summer time Belgian Strong. Recommended.

Poured a translucent effervescent amber with a tall fluffly off-white head. Aroma of honey, flowers, touch of spiciness. Taste is spicy, a touch sweet to start, with a moderate hop bitterness and a very dry finish... slight acidity as well. Bit of an alcohol tang for 7 percent. Now this is my idea of a "Belgian session brew".

Poured orange into Ciney glass with big fluffy head. Plenty of carbonation and nice lacing down glass. Aromas of pineapple, ripe banana with some spices. Has a unique dry peppery spicied flavor. This developes more as it warms up. Chalky and salty on the palate. I sometimes like my Belgians to be more spicey than sweet, so this one hits the spot.

Bottle. Honey colored body with tons of bubbles and an out of control, rocky white head. Sweet and mild aroma, slightly acidic and tart. Bready and a bit yeasty, faintly metallic. Slightly bitter flavor, tart and acidic again, faint hops/resin, dry finish. Good mouthfeel... fresh, bubbly, dry. This is a nice beer, but not the de dolle flagship beer for sure.
