COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boskeun is the nickname of Jo, one of the two brothers who preferred to brew blond beer at home. It is a special Easter beer, one of the first real Belgian Easter beers. (Slaghmuylder's paasbier being first). It has been brewed with pale malt, Golding hops, cane sugar and refermented with native honey. As it is a seasonal beer we suggest not to keep it eternally. The name Boskeun means rabbit of the wood (virgin wood, maybe?) and the label shows it, sampling the last brew.

Draught at Mikkeller baren.Hazy golden colour with white head.Aroma is sweet spicey and fruity,taste s a bit like oranges and cake,heavy warming alc and caramel, sweet light dry finish.

Pours golden with a white creamy head. Aroma is very fruity with orange, tangerine, blegian sweetness, maybe some honey behind and some hops. Taste is nice and gentle sweet, hops is there, fruits is there and a little feel of the alcohol. Nice .

En botella.envejecida un año.de color ámbar pálido,con buena carbonatacion,quizás demasiada,buena espuma buena retención,Aromas a alcohol,lúpulo....Bien equilibrada pero con un final bastante alcohólico.Interesante cerveza de pascua.

Clear dark golden, highly carbonated. Nice balance of sweet and bitter. Alcohol takes over in after-taste.

(Draught) clear rich gold with creamy/frothy off-white head. Nose of Belgian yeast, floral, spicy, coriander, bready. Taste is decent amount of alcohol, spicy, grapefruit, bread, very sweet, and a tiny bit floral, almost cloyingly sweet finish. Light body.

33 cl bottle @ home. 10% version, bottled 02/2010. Rated on 04.05.2011
Lots and lots of foam like always with De Dolle beers. Palate is rather high on CO2. Flavour is sourish and leathery, but somehow also a bit tripel-like. Alcohol starts to come through when this warms up in the glass.

Nose is hay, warm milk, raspberry, apricot, sweet grapes, feel is winelike, carb is mediumdense, taste is sour apple, little hay, notes of sauvignon blanc, spiced malt, mellow bitter hops
