COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boskeun is the nickname of Jo, one of the two brothers who preferred to brew blond beer at home. It is a special Easter beer, one of the first real Belgian Easter beers. (Slaghmuylder's paasbier being first). It has been brewed with pale malt, Golding hops, cane sugar and refermented with native honey. As it is a seasonal beer we suggest not to keep it eternally. The name Boskeun means rabbit of the wood (virgin wood, maybe?) and the label shows it, sampling the last brew.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy blonde net with a big white head on top, decent lacing. Aroma is very yeasty, light booze, bready and light sour. Flavor is medium bitter and sweet. Big carbonation going on, some alcoholic sweetness going on. Some bready stuff is noticeable. Nice to drink, but it does not really stand out above the rest.

33 cl. bottle poured in to a Trappist glass. Unclear, bordering muddy dark amber colour with a huge, fluffy off-white head. Sweet aroma with spices, cane sugar, a herbal sweetness from the honey, rich, toasted caramel malts, sweet fruits, light alcohol and yeasty notes. Taste is sweet. Full body, creamy to thick texture and a lively carbonation. Finishes sweet, fruity and herbal-spicy with warming alcohol. Excellent Paasbier from De Dolle.

Keg @ De Dolle Brewery bar, Esen. Pours a light yellow with perfect carbonation and a fresh floral aroma. The taste is pretty incredible, citrus, creamy lemon, sweet malts, candy sugar.. all blended exceptionally well. I could drink this all day long.
