COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boskeun is the nickname of Jo, one of the two brothers who preferred to brew blond beer at home. It is a special Easter beer, one of the first real Belgian Easter beers. (Slaghmuylder's paasbier being first). It has been brewed with pale malt, Golding hops, cane sugar and refermented with native honey. As it is a seasonal beer we suggest not to keep it eternally. The name Boskeun means rabbit of the wood (virgin wood, maybe?) and the label shows it, sampling the last brew.

Refrigerated 11.2 oz. brown bottle dated February 2011, poured into a trappist glass. Pours translucent golden with big fluffy white head. Aroma is honey, medium body, well carbonated, and some lacing. Taste is sugar, honey, fruit, some yeast, with some balancing hops. Sweet, complex, good beer.

Bottle at home. Pours a pale and hazy hay color with a large white head. Aroma of hops. Taste is light and crispy, of fruits, yeast, hay, caramel and has a bitter hoppy taste. Body is full and boozy. Aftertaste is long and bitter but not too bad.

--------&# Blonde pale and slightly turbid, produces a good deal of foam, not very compact and with perlage bubble quite large. Almost non-existent the olfactory, refers to the great with the flavors, notes of fruit are accompanied by spices and honey, the most obvious, in an excellent and balanced combination. Not too sweet and not too bitter. The body is medium, as well as the carbonation that fades in the final. I do not feel nearly 9 °, except that in the final is also a good and persistent aftertaste, classic Belgian strong. Overall a purchase guessed, to be assaggare friends. P.S. side note for the label, but too original "American" see Flying Dog.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow-orange color with a huge frothy head that fades normally. Big aroma of berries, spices, bananas, bubble gum, and sweet honey. Taste is moderately sweet with lots of berries and spices. Kind of a mess, so much Belgian spice. Honey and bubble gum show in the taste too. High fizzy carbonation, typical of these Belgian beers. Overall, not a big fan of this but certainly not bad. Just too much spice and too much fruitiness.

Vignale (1808) - Malmö, SWEDEN - MAY 31, 2013
Flaska från beernavigator. Stor typiskt belgisk doft. Mycket pomerans, apelsin, blomarom, bra balans, tydlig pomeransbeska. Ett öl jag blev väldigt förtjust i.

Poured alight amber with a small, disappearing off white head. Aroma of honey sweet malt and vanilla with berry fruit. Medium body, flavour of zesty orange with little aftertaste.
