Bottle. Pours a hazy orange color with a really frothy white creamy looking head. Aroma is of white grapes, green apple and pear, along with subtle spice, sweet malts and some bready notes. The flavor is filled with fruity esters, both the green apple, pear and white grape, along with caramel, subtle spice, sweet malts and a bready and doughy note. The body is medium with a dry mouthfeel. Overall probably one of the best Easter beers I have had from Belgium.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Keil (167) - Iowa, USA - MAR 22, 2011
Aroma is earthy, peppery, vanilla, lemon. Pours a hazy golden with a huge head. Very carbonated. Bone dry, slightly alcoholic in the finish. Super carbonated. Lots of earthy, peppery notes. Creamy and vanilla flavors mix with citrus. Would try again.
3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 jrallen34 (3434) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 22, 2011
huge carbonted gushing head. Its an orangy color, cloudy with a huge 4 finger very very light tan head that takes several minutes to disapate. Lacing is phenonimnal.
The aroma is bit lacking, kinda smells like a regular american skunker. There are hints of orange, coriander, and hops.
The taste is unique and complex. Not what you would expect from a pale. Its got great flavor from start to finish, and has a surprising bitter finish. Light notes of citrus at the first sip.

Body is medium to full, malty and sweetish fruity flavor, some caramel and spiciness, alcohol. Finish is average, malty, lightly sweetish and lightly spicy, alcohol. Strong ale with lots of alcohol in the flavor/finish, finish is not so sweet. Nice head though.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 77ships (744) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - MAR 15, 2011
UPDATED: APR 11, 2011 draft@ZBF 2011: medium bodies with mild spice (balanced/ not overt), some bitter hops, slightly toasted malt,, fresh dark fruits, spring beer that still carries over something from the winter, very nice, less amazing than their other offerings ///// bottle: seems to be somewhat more balanced with a bit lighter body & more fruit character incl. some citrus
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 crossovert (2547) - Wisconsin, USA - MAR 6, 2011
11.2 oz bottle.
It pours with by far the most active head of all time. It took me 20 minutes to pour the whole bottle into my glass. The head sticks forever, it doesn’t recede at all really. The beer itself is a hazy peach.
The smell has a noticeable pineapple acidic scent. There seems to be some hoppiness as well.
The taste is fruity and estery. It has a definite alcoholic flavor and some breadiness. It is kind of all over the place though.
This is a quirky brew, it is pretty blunt in the flavor department and overall.
