COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boskeun is the nickname of Jo, one of the two brothers who preferred to brew blond beer at home. It is a special Easter beer, one of the first real Belgian Easter beers. (Slaghmuylder's paasbier being first). It has been brewed with pale malt, Golding hops, cane sugar and refermented with native honey. As it is a seasonal beer we suggest not to keep it eternally. The name Boskeun means rabbit of the wood (virgin wood, maybe?) and the label shows it, sampling the last brew.

In bottle at home. Pours a dark golden colour with a thick, lasting white head. Aroma of honey, biscuity malt, hibiscus flowers and alcohol. Similar flavours and nicely bitter with heavy carbonation and a chewy mouth-feel. A bitter meady finish. Really interesting with a dry finish.

Mild aroma of honey, yeast, and grass. Caramel colored, cloudy, lots of carbonation with a lasting white well laced head. Taste of coriander, banana, and a hint of honey. Creamy feel, with a banana and spice finish.

Golden orange color with creamy white head. If the glass front with having already beginning to salivate , Very intense fruity aroma with sweet malts, honey and caramel, mixed with golden apple, orange and peach. Fruit is present in every swig, dominated by golden apple , but also with peach, orange , white grape, mango and lemon.

Very nice. Indeed a blonde in its color, but don’t let that fool you. This is one big beer. Strong fruity sweetness, with a large dollop of Belgian yeast holding everything together. You can "feel" the alcohol, but there’s not much booziness going on.

Bottle. Hazy gold pour with thick foamy white head. Aroma of spicy belgian yeast esters, vanilla, stonefruit, light wild de dolle character that makes this brewery’s fame. Taste is sweet, malty, really fruity with a lingering spicy finish - nice hoppiness for the style as well. Palate is full bodied with the rich creamy carbonation I always get from De Dolle beers. Heavy beer, but pretty darn tasty.
