COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boskeun is the nickname of Jo, one of the two brothers who preferred to brew blond beer at home. It is a special Easter beer, one of the first real Belgian Easter beers. (Slaghmuylder's paasbier being first). It has been brewed with pale malt, Golding hops, cane sugar and refermented with native honey. As it is a seasonal beer we suggest not to keep it eternally. The name Boskeun means rabbit of the wood (virgin wood, maybe?) and the label shows it, sampling the last brew.

Golden color, precious white and plenty head, leaving a great and marked lace. Fresh aroma, with hints of alcohol, yeast, citric like bitter orange, and something that can’t identify. In mouth is very dry, a point of grape liquor, a little bit spicy...complex, but very well structured. It improves as it developed. Need more tastings, anyway.

In bottiglia.

Aroma is hard to discribe. Primairly yeasty. Taste is spicy and fruity. A good dosis of hops aswell. The carbonation was way to high for my taste. Overall disappointing.

Zoet en zwwar bier. Erg apart.

Huge one.. Most of all I get combo of honey, candy, peachy fruitiness, noticeable yeastiness, then theres light floral hop profile in background, wood notes, coriander. Quite intense sweetness with light bitterness and light hint of sourness. Complex, well balanced and highly enjoyable. Love it

It’s your typical Belgian Strong.. I just wasn’t that impressed. Drinkable though.
