An Easter beer on Easter day. Wonderful sweet neutral fruits, some ginger and orange peel, honey, and some old basement funkiness. There is a bit of alcoholic vapor here that carries a mild hops note, some yeastiness, and that particular Old World funk that is common in so many Belgian beers - a background aroma that is hard to find in anything over here. Body is a dark golden-amber clear with tons of bubbles, which results in an eggshell meringue, fluffy and piled up everywhere. Naturally, a huge amount of lacing from this. Gets cloudier as the dregs are added. Heavy watery body, lots of mouth presence, and a high amount of carbonation. Alcohol warming, for sure. Starts with a high amount of sugary sweetness, orange peels, honey, and light graininess. Dry herbal grassiness comes after, with a nice amount of bitterness in the finish. But it is not hopped enough to overcome the sweetness of this one. Mild dry graininess and a bit of barnyard funk in the after, with ever present coating sweetness. Light chalky bitter for final taste. This was a really nice beer to wait for.

Bottle. Pours out a dark gold topped with a tall cream head. Aroma of spice, sweetness, and malts. Tast if apple, pepper, sweetness, spice, and some abv for sure.

Aroma of spices, oranges, and a decent floral. Pours hazy amber with a gigantic head. Taste is intense. Great floral yeast with slight orange zest. Finishes with an earthy ginger. Nice one!

Bottle. Mostly clear golden in color with pillowy white head. Aroma is apples, yeast, and cinnamon. Nice, but nothing outstanding for the style. Taste is a slight step up. Still very yeasty, but the spice character is more present. Honey drys this beer out in the finish. Very nice, but too dry for me.

On tap @ Ølfestival København 2012. This is a light blurry golden beer with a small sidesticking and lacing off-white head. The aroma is light fruity with lot’s of melon and some sweet honey. It has a average carbonation level and a good oily texture. Taste is extreme melon zesty and kinda yeasty grassy with a touch of alcohol in the finish. Strong spicy almost pepperish burning aftertaste! Tasty. 10.05.2012

Questa è una grande birra! Aroma dolce e infine luppolato. Al palato imbocco dolce di frutta, successivamente evolve ai lati della lingua un in bell’amaro luppolato! In generale si notano due contraltari (Il dolce e l’amaro) ma nessuno dei due prevale sull’altro. I gradi alcolici sono ben nascosti. E’ una birra sorprendente.

Creamy red-brown colour, opaque with chunky yeast. Good carbonation. Nice bubbly head. Orangy zesty citric smell with some pepper and some peach. Very subtle spiciness. Maybe some pine needles and thyme. Very fizzy with a delicious zesty citriness. Sour - heading towards grapefruit peel. Dry and refreshing with a lightly alcoholic finish.

Donkergeel-oranje kleur, veel kraag die heel goed blijft. Moutige geur met wat fruitigs op de achtergrond. Smaakt bitterzoet , wat muffig en ook wat vaag fruit. Goede body. Bittere afdronk. Niet spectaculair maar door de stevige body wel goed drinkbaar.

Creamy aroma. Head lasts quite a while. Rather nice flavour. Balanced. Somewhat spicy in its aftertaste.

Tap at DØE. Orange colour with a nice white head. Aroma and flavour of spice, fruit, hops, alcohol, malt and caramel.

Una cerveza realmente sorprendente. Muy gasificada, con espuma blanca persistente y espesa. Color dorado pálido, trago cálido pero muy sabroso y con el alcohol muy bien integrado, que le hace muy bebible. Una cerveza para disfrutar.
