4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 beermatrix (1497) - Twin Cities, USA - APR 23, 2004
Pale, thick, and densely clouded peachy yellowed and lightly bronzed color with a large thickly placed white foam crown of crystalized melted marshmellow, mega lacing in sheets of thin styrofoam and strings with snow sparkling edges. Gorgeous snifter full of ale!
Aroma is chalked full of sweet yet dulled citrusy fruits of lemon and banana with a nice grab of pleasing yeast spice thats a bit peppery with touches of leafy fresh hops, some sugared candies, bubblegummy things and even some cocoa arrives very late underneath once it warms. A wonderfully calm and fruity nose with a sensible warming complexity.
Taste has a smooth calm fruity brigade up front lending a leveled and easy dulled lemon, candy sugar laced tropical citrus, melon juiced, banana fluffed trifold with mellow caramel, then it turns to yeast peppered things and candied sugars mixing, giving all sorts of little complexing give and takes. Finishes quite spicy with lingering left overs melding underneath of some of the malted caramel and tropical fruits. Intricately woven and well put together and crafted with care. I like the milder spicy tones, yet it has just enough zing and pep to keep it on edge and very interesting to undertake.
Feel is nearly full with a fluffy texturing within most of its carbonation, a nice spicy twinge and mild hop flesh maintains in the finish and comes across pretty darn smooth and even creamy at times, front mostly there. Overall a fine, fine ale. One I'd drink again and again with no problem. A very nice drinker eh. T'was gone in no time no doubt. Very yummy!

Bottle. Pours out a dark gold topped with a tall cream head. Aroma of spice, sweetness, and malts. Tast if apple, pepper, sweetness, spice, and some abv for sure.

Aroma of spices, oranges, and a decent floral. Pours hazy amber with a gigantic head. Taste is intense. Great floral yeast with slight orange zest. Finishes with an earthy ginger. Nice one!
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 mattyb83 (635) - Minnesota, USA - MAY 26, 2012
Bottle. Mostly clear golden in color with pillowy white head. Aroma is apples, yeast, and cinnamon. Nice, but nothing outstanding for the style. Taste is a slight step up. Still very yeasty, but the spice character is more present. Honey drys this beer out in the finish. Very nice, but too dry for me.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Palme (1437) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAY 22, 2012
On tap @ Ølfestival København 2012. This is a light blurry golden beer with a small sidesticking and lacing off-white head. The aroma is light fruity with lot’s of melon and some sweet honey. It has a average carbonation level and a good oily texture. Taste is extreme melon zesty and kinda yeasty grassy with a touch of alcohol in the finish. Strong spicy almost pepperish burning aftertaste! Tasty. 10.05.2012
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 IlBevitorediLA (213) - ITALY - MAY 19, 2012
Questa è una grande birra! Aroma dolce e infine luppolato.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Bosskie (226) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 19, 2012
Creamy red-brown colour, opaque with chunky yeast. Good carbonation. Nice bubbly head.
Orangy zesty citric smell with some pepper and some peach. Very subtle spiciness. Maybe some pine needles and thyme.
Very fizzy with a delicious zesty citriness. Sour - heading towards grapefruit peel. Dry and refreshing with a lightly alcoholic finish.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 mutz (123) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 18, 2012

Creamy aroma. Head lasts quite a while. Rather nice flavour. Balanced. Somewhat spicy in its aftertaste.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Ignaciorg (10) - SPAIN - MAY 14, 2012
Una cerveza realmente sorprendente. Muy gasificada, con espuma blanca persistente y espesa. Color dorado pálido, trago cálido pero muy sabroso y con el alcohol muy bien integrado, que le hace muy bebible. Una cerveza para disfrutar.
