Poured golden with haze, with an aroma of yeast and spices. The taste was a full frontal attack that zipped through the taste buds. Yes this beer was sweet but despite this and it’s strength which was also there throughout, this beer had enough bitterness to create a super diversion and really was a classy number.

Aroma of fruit and spice. Flavor is fruity, spicy malty goodness with a touch of sour in the after taste. For a 10% beer this one is very easy to drink. I’ll have another.

Aug 21, 2008 Bottle @ Café Gollem. Hazy yellow/amber colour, big white head, lots of carbonation. Aroma is fruity, spicy, yeast, malts, tart. Flavour is fruity sweet, yeasty, spicy and ends a bit sour.

Aug 18, 2008 Yellowish copper pour with a big, rocky white head and some floating sediment. The aroma has notes of honey, white grape, citrus,spice, yeast, dust, flowers, and faint alcohol. The flavor is sweet, dry and flowery with a faintly doughy malt backbone. Lots of lingering, spicy European hops and alcohol on the finish. Sticky medium body with loads of carbonation.

Cloudy orange, small head. huge estery aroma, a little gluey. Alcoholic and fizzy palate. Rich malty body, a little bit of rubber. Heady - winey and a little alcoholic, but spookily pleasant. Too much alcohol, but otherwise a lovely brew.
