Commercial Description:
De Dulle Teve is brewed in the tradition of a Belgian Triple. Its high density stems from large amounts of pale malt increased with pale candi sugar in the brew kettle. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, bottle-conditioned.

De Dulle Teve keeps two to three years without major changes in taste. Further maturing, up to 10 years, will cause it to darken a little and lose some of its bitterness. The bittering of about 30 IBU is due to Goldings hops in the brew kettle.

Fruity aroma, grapes and even vanilla. Hazy carrot colour, big biege head which disappears. Taste vanilla, malt, and not much alcohol at all. Very good long, bitter finish. Actually, the finish was more bitter than you’d think: this was the first beer in the morning on a trip to tallinn. The morning after was very bitter indeed, and I blame it all on this mad bitch.

Rich beer from De Dolle Brouwers again...Hazy orange- amber body with a huge foamy lacing head. The aroma is spicy, complex with coriander, bitter orange, citruses, caramel and candi sugar. Some liqueric-alcoholic perfume. The body is rich, the texture is complex and oily, flavor is spicy with liqueric alcohol, strong hop, sweet caramel but all of this parameters are well balanced. Nice hop, dry aftertaste. Strong personality, agai and again. Is there any job at De Dolle Brouwers? I will give a hand to the old woman!

330 ml. bottle into sniffer. When I popped this it started foaming out gently and stirred up some yeasty i think because it has a very cloudy golen/yeasty tan color. Huge creamy white head that holds and sizzles long and fades to a rocky inch-tall head and stays there (great head). Aroma is unbelievable; I am not the biggest belgian fan, but this is the most full, delicious, complex, creamy, refreshing, and UNIQUE belgian aroma I have encountered. Hints of bannana, vanilla, soft alcohol, sugary cherries, oak, candisugar (but not overly dominating like many other belgians I have had), and more. The flavor is good, but not as balanced. It starts very sugary sweet (pale malt and candi sugar) with some nutty notes, which transitions slowly into a strange bitter sourness, and then about 5 seconds after swallowing fades into a great fruity and creamy finish dominated by vanilla oak and cherries. A bit of booze on the nose, very warming on the stomach. Medium bodied on the palate with very active carbonation that prickles the mouth. Overall: truly astounding aroma, very unique and diverse (amorphous transforming) flavor. Could be very interesting with age.

Pours hazy yellow with a lot of white head. Has the tendency to bubble over. A crisp taste, with a bit of sweetness to it.

Billowing head, hard to control. Smells very sweet, almost like a liquid candy. Hazy golden color. Hoppy for a triple, can sense some spice, maybe nutmeg, and lemons. Bitter and sour finish, but the initial sweetness remains to keep it balanced. Very good beer, will try again

Bottle thx to Noize. Golden colour, white head. Aroma has yeast and some citrus. Flavour has fruits and some spices. Finishes a bit dry, with some pleasant bitterness. This tripel is a winner.
