Commercial Description:
De Dulle Teve is brewed in the tradition of a Belgian Triple. Its high density stems from large amounts of pale malt increased with pale candi sugar in the brew kettle. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, bottle-conditioned.

De Dulle Teve keeps two to three years without major changes in taste. Further maturing, up to 10 years, will cause it to darken a little and lose some of its bitterness. The bittering of about 30 IBU is due to Goldings hops in the brew kettle.

Crushed with Jakebra. Yes, I am rating a tripel highly. Wasn’t sure the day would come either. Nice and fruity. A little too overly-carbonated, but it’s all good. Lots of yeast and fruit flavors with a nice dry finish. I knew this style could be good if someone did it right.

Murky golden-orange, large long lasting white head, great lacing. The aroma is very yeasty, bretty, lots of citrus, some spice and caramel. The flavour has some light alcohol, lots of citrus, the brett is coming out of this quite nice, very musty and yeasty, some sourness. Yeasty and bitter mouthfeel, medium body, very high carbonation. Finishes warming, long and yeasty.

A major gusher, not sure how the bottle didn’t explode. Showing no signs of age, fantastic stuff.

330ml bottle obtained in a trade with ClarkVV, thanks Clark.
Opened on June 21, 2008.

Bottle. Look: Hazy orange with long lasting white head. Smell: Coriander, fruit. Taste: Bitter orange, hops, honey. Spicy dry finish. Overall: Funky tripel. Too much carbonation.

Thanks for sharing, bro! Pours a crisp golden color with a medium white head which leaves some nice webs of lacing. Aroma is slight yeasty funk, some citrus, and a bit of toffee and caramel. Taste is mostly caramel, toffee, and brown sugar. Different.

Pours an amber color with some medium off-white head. Aroma is a bit of brown sugar, simple syrup, and light Belgian spice. Taste is cloyingly sweet, the spice is all off, I don’t get the hype over this beer. To me, it’s a mess.

Pours a pale tan. Firm head and good Belgian lace. Aroma of ripe fruit, bananas, orange, brown sugar. Great aroma. Sweetness quickly trails off to fruit, and then a tart unripe fruit bitterness. This is amazing. It’s so complex, words escape me.

Tap Courtesy of Eric at Trappeze. Athens GA Pours hazy golden with thick creamy white head, leaving light transparent lacing. Aroma, bready with plety of fruits, candi sugar, some tart raspberry. Taste, yeasty, very smooth and delicious, overall thick palate with several fruits fighting to be noticed. Getting some apricots, pears (giving the little tart finish) melon as well as some well placed candi sugar.
