Commercial Description:
De Dulle Teve is brewed in the tradition of a Belgian Triple. Its high density stems from large amounts of pale malt increased with pale candi sugar in the brew kettle. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, bottle-conditioned.

De Dulle Teve keeps two to three years without major changes in taste. Further maturing, up to 10 years, will cause it to darken a little and lose some of its bitterness. The bittering of about 30 IBU is due to Goldings hops in the brew kettle.

Light fruity aroma, amazing lacing, white head. Alcohol and carbonation dominated the flavors in the palate. When it settles fruits prevail.

The Dolle Breuwers...with a crazy bitch. Appearence like a apple-cider. The nose is light fruity, peach and something sweet. The body is round, fruity and firm and has notes of champange...though missing the bubbles.

extremely hazy tea colored pour with rocky head. nice tiny bubble make their way up with tiny yeaties at bottom of the glass. Head lasts forever. Spicey aroma, with apricot and standard issued ester profile. tart apple aromas add to the nose as well. Flavor is spicey strong alcohol (rubbing alcohol) some fruity ester, but booze really dominates. Moutfeel is tingly with dry boozy finish.

Cloudy orane tinged-golden pour. Huge pillowy, tight white head. Alcohol macerated dried apples, peaches and apricots. Faint traces of coriander and clove. An exuding wonderful sweetness. Bread, tart apples with a sharp tongue piercing flavor. Some honey and candy sugar. Dried pit fruit and warming spices. Alcohol very present on the finish, but warming and welcome. If all Mad Bitches were like this I’d take two.

Bottle. Very effervescent. Aromas and finish are pure tart apples.Sme yeastiness is also present but it remnds me a lot of a French Cidre. The alcohol is well hidden.

330ml Bottle Pours out a hazy light gold. Topped with a off white foam head. A nice aroma of sour apples and pit fruit. Tast more of the apples and some belg yeast. Very nice. A big thanks to kmeves for this one.

bottle thanks to drmatt. Pours a hazy, faded yellow/golden color with a white head which lingered to create nice lacing. Some residue in the glass. Smell was of apple, raisin and yeast. taste was of yeast and apples. Mouthfeel was medium with carbonation and a hint of alcohol. Not a big fan of blonds or tripels.

Bottle. This one was a big disappointment. I normally like tripels very much, but this one just wasn´t what I expected. On the cap an inscription said juno 08 I wonder if thats a best before date. Anyway a dark golden beer with a huge and long lasting head. The aroma begins with a little fruity notes and then just applejuice, which I don´t like in my beers. Taste of sour apples, malty and after a while just like applejuice with vodka. No sweetness at all. I guess this one was quite old, as it seems like all the interesting things has gone and lots of alcohol stands back. I think I ´ll give it another chance some other time. A real turn off. Tasted again september 08. It was better aroma fruits, apples esters. Huge head. Sweet malty with a strong alcohol burn. Raised my rating from 2.1 to 3.1. Maybe something was wrong with the first one, but still not an especial tripel, have to say I don´t understand it´s rated so high.
