COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
De Dulle Teve is brewed in the tradition of a Belgian Triple. Its high density stems from large amounts of pale malt increased with pale candi sugar in the brew kettle. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, bottle-conditioned.

De Dulle Teve keeps two to three years without major changes in taste. Further maturing, up to 10 years, will cause it to darken a little and lose some of its bitterness. The bittering of about 30 IBU is due to Goldings hops in the brew kettle.

Kauge (484) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JAN 24, 2015
Bottle from Wine of Galilee in Tallinn. Bottled July 2014. Loads of bits floating in the bottle. Creamy white head forms 90% of the pour. Sediments in the glass despite being careful. Cloudy golden colour. Good retention. Thick lacing. Nose… maaaan that’s nice! Caramelly sour milk (or keefir?), kama… alcohol most definitely there, not hiding anywhere, and there’s yeast… the sour milk thing recedes later on, and it gets more sharp, kind of like orange peel and overall citrusy. Someone said parmesan - can’t disagree, it’s got a strange pungency… damn interesting, damn good. Taste is, well, less intriguing - sweet, fruity, doughy (but not as much as your usual Belgian), slightly spicy. Body medium plus, carbonation moderate. Beautifully balanced, considerably hoppy with a lot of thick sweetness (but not syrupy or sugary). This freak is awesome.

Moravius (707) - Berlin, GERMANY - JAN 14, 2015

An exceptional beer, and probably my favorite tripel. The appearance is a standard belgian honey tripel, which I always like. The aroma is also somewhat standard with candied sugars, belgian yeast malt. The taste is a bit bitter but has some nice sweetness to it and some tang, maybe orange peel. Initislly this hits you as just another tripel, but after a bit the palate feeling is nothing short of heavenly. Incredibly smooth, creamy, and very very light with a touch of fruity freshness that is one of a kind. Overall an exceptional beer and top of its class for sure.

Gonna be hard pressed to find a tripel tastier than this. A bit of funk, almost farmhouse like upfront, met with soft carbonation, lemon, grass, lovely Belgian candied sugar, some clove, coriander, slight bitterness, orange peel, raisins. Hazy gold with 1-finger head, partly creamy. Love.

Cloudy yellow with as much frothy pale-yellow head as beer in the glass. Lots of brown sediment @ the bottom of the pour. Aroma is cheesy, farmy grass, Parmesan, moss, earth. Body is light, oily, heavy carbonation with strong, hot burn which obscures most other elements of the mouth feel. flavor is spicy hops - oregano-type herbs, twigs, hot on the exhale, satisfying dry wheat-scone. Dry, earthy bitterness. An earthy take on the tripel with considerable hopping. Aroma could convey more deliciousness.
