Pours a murky golden color. FLOATIES!!!!!!! Smell is strong, sour fruits, light malt. Taste is very good, not as sour as the smell. Crisp fruity finish. Very good, drinkable brew. ksigty (107), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Jul 25, 2007 Great aroma of wheat and yeast. Lots of particles in the beer definitely hurts the appearance. Lots of punch to this though with a lot of flavor. Other than the particles and being a little on the strong side for my tates this was pretty solid. BDR (2153), Roseville, Minnesota, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jul 22, 2007 Hazy darker golden with sizeable quickly fading head. Wheaty, and the Belgian yeasts are featured strongly. Banana, light spice aromas. The beer had a small sour crispness with apple/sweet caramel taste to a spicey drying finish with whispers of citrus and pepper. Considering the abv the alcohol is pretty well hidden, not a bad tripel for sure. Wim (1288), Turnhout, Belgium

Sweet and sour nectarine with some duck sauce and lemon yeast. Sudsy carb with a sharp tang. Unripe apricot and dry woody caramel. Alcohol comes out toward the end. Clean finish with light citrus peel. thenick (744), North Bellmore, New York, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jul 15, 2007 Pours like a typical tripel, a hazy golden orange color with a nice, low white head. Aroma is of banana, clove, and candy sugar. Taste is incredibly smooth, with banana, clove, malt, and candy sugar thrown in, with a nice lilting finish. Great example of a tripel and yet another winner from De Dolle.
