COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
De Dulle Teve is brewed in the tradition of a Belgian Triple. Its high density stems from large amounts of pale malt increased with pale candi sugar in the brew kettle. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, bottle-conditioned.

De Dulle Teve keeps two to three years without major changes in taste. Further maturing, up to 10 years, will cause it to darken a little and lose some of its bitterness. The bittering of about 30 IBU is due to Goldings hops in the brew kettle.

birra fantastica, gusto dolce(ma non troppo),deciso e forte, abbastanza corposa. La de dolle migliore se non esistesse la stille nackt,a cui si avvicina molto! :-D

Bottle served in a tulip. Hazy golden orange with a ridiculously large head. Excellent retention and lace. Very aromatic nose of yeasty spice, lemon, clove, funk, and banana. Strong yeasty flavors. Light sweet and funky. Medium body, creamy texture, bubbly carbonation, and a long yeasty and bitter dry finish. I’m loving this strong tripel. Complex from start to finish.

A: Pale orange body. Large, off-white head. Spotty lacing S: Mild soft fruits -- apples and oranges. Nice spicy, Belgian yeast notes. T: Like the nose, there is a nice, mild, restrained fruity complexion. Semi-sweet apples, a little orange pop in the finish. Black pepper, pale malt and assertive yeast notes. Complex and interesting. M: Smooth and well-balanced with a nice effervescence. Spicy, crisp finish. O: Another standout beer from De Dolle.

33 cL bottle from ABS Drinks in Winksele into a Westvleeteren glass. Was in the fridge for 45 mins to get down to ’cellar temperature’. Nice bubbly head over a fizzy amber beer. Fine spiced malt aroma with candy, smells great. The tasty is rich, liquid treacle! Luxurious, with a candy bitter sweetness, excellent. This was a real treat.

Ottima birra dal colore ambrato. Schiuma di persistenza media. Dall’odore presenta chiari tratti fruttati che si sprigionano in bocca già dal primo sorso. Da provare e da gustare lentamente.

Very powerful aroma, culture, yeast, a prominent aged cheese. Even unripened bananas come to mind on the nose. Pours an auburn colour, with a soft head that melts to white lacings. A remarkable flavour on the palate. I wouldn’t hesitate to have this one again, just not all the time.

330 mL bottle from SoHo Organic Market in Elizabeth City, NC (bottled May 2010). Hazy yellowish-orange pour with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of tangerine and light candi sugar. The flavor is lightly fruity, tangerines come to mind, but is heavier than many tripels on the candi sugar and the flavor of alcohol. Medium bodied, slight alcohol warming. A very good tripel.
