De Dulle Teve is brewed in the tradition of a Belgian Triple. Its high density stems from large amounts of pale malt increased with pale candi sugar in the brew kettle. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, bottle-conditioned.

De Dulle Teve keeps two to three years without major changes in taste. Further maturing, up to 10 years, will cause it to darken a little and lose some of its bitterness. The bittering of about 30 IBU is due to Goldings hops in the brew kettle.

Beautiful tripel. Intense fruitiness kick, mostly oranges, citrus, quite noticeable yeast, bit sharp, but thats perfectly enough to make it complex, but in same time very refreshing. Lovely caramel malty background. Good balance between quite intense sweetness and bitterness Very enjoyable brew.

Bottle at de dolle brewery. Cloudy amber, frothy white head. Sour, a little apple and white pear in the nose as well as some yogurt, sweetish apple taste and an astringent sensation in the mouth and down the throat. Full body, fizzy, sweet candy finish. Quite alright.

A really great tripel, the phenolic thing isn’t too prevalent and there’s a nice light sweetness throughout that accompanies the yeasty spice notes well. Typical great De Dolle interpretation of a style I’m not crazy for.

Single bottle from Yankee in Sturbridge. Poured into a snifter. A very murky light orange-amber with a frothy off-white head. Very complex aroma and flavors. Sweet plum-bread, dry yeast, good hopping, some spice, some citrus. Slightly sweet. Some herbal notes. Very smooth too. Incredible.

Like most triples this Mad Bitch is bold rich and full of flavor. Still with this one you also think luxurious and refined. Colour is nice hazy yellow with a good creamy head and soft prickly carbonation. Flavor is sweet malts licorice yeast bitter hops and some of the 10%. Delicious.
