De Dolle Dulle Teve 10º (Mad Bitch)

Poured an orangish-straw color with a tall rocky white head that leaves behind some lacing in irregular swaths. Aroma has a definite sweetness to it, but the aroma isn’t a one-trick pony like most tripels. There’s an earthy spice component akin to a saison present, but the overall aromatic impression is heavier than a saison. Mouthfeel is thick. Taste is slightly hot, with some spice present, and a good deal of sweet. An interesting tripel. Not much of the De Dolle funk present, at least in the vein of brews like Oerbier, but still a unique brew.

Bottled 33cl at Le Bier Circus, Brussels. Pours hazy pale orange. Aroma is yeast and hops. Taste is sweet, fruity and toffee. Bitter finish with notes of hops

Disappointed in this beer. I was thinking that I was buying a top quality brew when I payed a ridiculous 12$ for this beer from the local farmers market. I don’t want to talk about the price again because now I am especially upset about paying that much. The beer lacked an aroma. When I did pick up on the aroma, bread, and fruits were noticeable. I liked the flavor somewhat. Tasted of bread, hops, and some undetermined fruit. The ABV is excellent, but doesn’t save this beer. I loved the color, and the head accompanies you throughout your drink experience. Hopefully, no one on this website paid as much as I did for this beer. The beer I can say is good, but the flavors were not popping out at me. The flavors kind of mixed together and made it hard to determine what was what.

an orange color with a meringue head off the tap. coriander and honey are prevalent in the nose, while caramel dominates the tastes with the hops and yeast. light and full, crisp yet milky? good beer.

Pours a cloudy golden light copper with an extremely foamy offwhite head, leaving behind a fair amount of lacing. Smells citrus, some barnyard hay odor, lemons, and some hops in the background. maybe some berries. Tastes alcohol. sweet berries, very carbonated. Lots of burning sensations in the finish and white grapes and hops.

Big frothy head, cloudy blond pour Dough, bread and a bit fruity aroma. Flavor is fruity sweet and the alcohol content is apparent. Medium body with a good creamy texture. A very drinkable tripel.

Hazy pale white a medium sized white head. The aroma is honey candi sugar and herbal. The flavor is honey, herbal, floral, candi sugar and caramel. Medium body with sparkling carbonation.

Pours a four finger, white head that quickly fades to a ring leaving a little lace. Nose is alcohol and raisins. Cloudy pale amber color. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Flavor piney raisins sweet and tart with hints of alcohol. $5.70 for a 330ml bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.
