Obvious DeDolle yeast in the aroma. Spicy, yeast, fruity (apples), citrus, sour (the DeDolle way). And a lot more... oakish !?! | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Sep 4, 2006 Updated: Jun 27, 2008Bottle. Hazy honey color, scant head, bad retention. Flavor is tinny, sweet and mellow, apricot notes. Flavor is overly sweet, nectar, pear, one dimensional. Mouthfeel is bubbly and silky, good fresh characters. I was a bit let down by this, above average, but not amazing. Rerate - better than I remember. Mellow, well balanced, and super chewy triple. Doughy with tons of floaters. Much better than I remember. Rerate - tremendous, great balance, super beer. Sigmund (2278), Hafrsfjord, Norway

There’s a lot of citrus and alcohol notes - orange, some banana, some roasted malt, some abbey dubbel notes. Flavors of orange, banana, yeast, and a good deal of Granny Smith apple.
