Commercial Description:
De Dulle Teve is brewed in the tradition of a Belgian Triple. Its high density stems from large amounts of pale malt increased with pale candi sugar in the brew kettle. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, bottle-conditioned.

De Dulle Teve keeps two to three years without major changes in taste. Further maturing, up to 10 years, will cause it to darken a little and lose some of its bitterness. The bittering of about 30 IBU is due to Goldings hops in the brew kettle.

Cloudy orange with a huge white frothy head. Aromas of earth, wine, fruits including banana, bubble gum and some spice. Dry flavour with pepper and some alcohol showing. Lasting complex aftertaste with all of the aroma elements lingering in your mouth.

8/1/06: Bottle.
Burnt golden body – a bit hazy. Head is large and slightly off-white. Lace clings to glass and is quite creamy. Aroma is of wheat with spice and florals. Spices are amazing and complex. Very creamy and warming with a slight pepper finish.

beautiful amber body with small white head and nice carbonation...aroma begins with vinegar and light fruits, and is followed by belgian yeast, light spice, and circus peanuts...flavor is of light fruits, yeast, bread, and has a dry/bitter finish...fruits open up upon warming, as does the alcohol...there is also a lingering taste of mint leaves upon finishing this fine beer...perfect palate

Pours cloudy orange with a foamy white head that lasts. Aroma is pretty typical of the style and consists of fruit and alcohol. Flavor is complex. It starts with mostly malt and alcohol. The finish is very roasty tasting and a surprise. I really really like this.

The strength of this beer defintely comes with its aggressive but awesome aftertaste. It has all the spice and you can definitely taste the alcohol in this beer. Enjoy!

Wow, damn fine beer here! I love tripels, but this one is special, HUGE spicey aftertaste, yet remains crisp, and boy boy boy can you taste the alcohol. Huge warming. Good.

33cl bottle: aroma was unleashed from the bottle as soon as the crown was removed. Banana, clove, yeast flowed into the air. It poured a dirty orange color with a 3/4 inch fluffy head that settled down into waves of froth with small bubbles coming up from the bottom. There was also a great deal of lacing left on the glass. The nose is full of the elements mentioned when the top was removed plus alcohol. The flavor is even stronger than the aroma full of ripe banana, yeast, alcohol, with a slight funk, and a touch of pepperiness from the hops. The mouth feel is full of active bubbles that caress your mouth as you swallow. A very well crafted tripel

Cloudy orange beer that is FULL of suspended floaties all topped by a thin lasting head and a sweet, slightly sharp aroma. The mouthfeel for me is a little too fizzy (the liveliest i’ve tried from DeDolle yet) but the flavour is back in there.
