Lasts for a couple of minutes. A lot more carbonation than I thought there would be considering the cork almost blew out by itself. Aroma is a grassy straw funk with some apples and perhaps golden raisins. Flavor has a strong bitterness with some cotton candy sweetness. A slight brown sugar malt. Extremely dry with a nice warming alcohol. Body is very rich. A solid find while on vacation. timbeer (61), Rosemount, Minnesota, USA

A tad darker that I expected, brownish and cloudy. A bit sweet with a numbing alcohol feel (nice!). Light and crisp on the toungue. A good Triple - I like this beer a lot. DocHop (278), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 26, 2008 Pours a hazy orange/amber with a massive off-white foamy head. Leaves nice lacing. Aroma of citrus, some fruits, yeast, and a dry alcohol. Very sweet, creamy caramel at first in the flavor with a spicey, fruity middle. The fizzy citrus and alcohol don’t surface until the finish, leaving a slightly bitter dryness. nickd717 (1415), Palo Alto, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 25, 2009 Bottle from City Beer in SF. This is one hell of a tripel. Bottle was a gusher, but fortunately not much was lost. Pours hazy golden with a large white head with fairly large bubbles and good lacing. My friend that I shared this with said, "It looks like a real beer." Aroma is typical De Dolle yeast, bready malt, banana, apple, citrus, and spice. Flavor is yeasty with pale malt, green apple, citrusy tartness, banana, and some Noble hops. Palate is medium-full with lively carbonation. ABV well-hidden, but this is definitely not a weak beer by any means. Another great one from De Dolle. surmont (11), USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 13, 2008 A beer of joy that gives a rather sleepy feeling when drinking too much. The taste is typical for "De Dolle Brouwers" because of the choice of sugar. Anker (313), Hillerød, Denmark

Pours hazy orange with some floaties and a big fluffy off white head.
It has a very nice and spicy aroma with notes of orange peel, rock candy, yeast and a hint of banana, cloves and grapes.
The flavour is sweet with some bitterness as well and got notes of spices, yeast, malt and hops.
Very nice and complex. Bloekie (165), Belgium
