COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
De Dulle Teve is brewed in the tradition of a Belgian Triple. Its high density stems from large amounts of pale malt increased with pale candi sugar in the brew kettle. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, bottle-conditioned.

De Dulle Teve keeps two to three years without major changes in taste. Further maturing, up to 10 years, will cause it to darken a little and lose some of its bitterness. The bittering of about 30 IBU is due to Goldings hops in the brew kettle.

Barely chilled:Not a gusher. Dark golden. Careful pour still releases a big fat head. Aroma is grassy hops ,phenolic, with big waves of candi sugar and malt. Fizzy, medium to thick texture. Upfront flavors are metallic(at first-rust),peppery,lightly grassy, with big pale malt. Following are nice sweet bread, flavors and more peppery, clovey, yeast flavors. Complex finish of grassy hops, pale malt, and the yeast is a slight afterthought, though stands out in the rest of the beer. Sweet and dry. As usual great lacing and head retention from a De Dolle product. After finishing lingering candi sugar and gummy yeast. Never really a sign of alcohol even after approaching room temp. Could drink much of this though it will sneak up on you. Up there with the best, although I have a bias for this brewery.

33cl teku. Pours an enormous, creamy and homogeneous head, hazy orange slight golden colour; incredibly lasting and compact head. Smells malty, mature fruits, syrupy peaches, some really really fine and complex yeasty with a slight and pleasant acidic note, subtle alcohol;; wow. Tastes mature fruit, honey, caramel, wood, dates, sweet spiced... so many notes, every time different. Perfect, and dominant, sweetness, just great and never tiring, delicate fruity bitter notes; tart notes in background. Medium body, great moderate carbonation, bit sticky texture. So complex, so full of flavours.. So balanced. An institution between Belgian beers, awesome !!

Flavor is sweet and bitter, fruits, apples, citrus, caramel, and spices. Alcohol is very well covered. Finish is citrus bitter. Everything is very well balanced. Overall: no gimmicks, just a great beer.

Beautiful tripel. Intense fruitiness kick, mostly oranges, citrus, quite noticeable yeast, bit sharp, but thats perfectly enough to make it complex, but in same time very refreshing. Lovely caramel malty background. Good balance between quite intense sweetness and bitterness Very enjoyable brew.
