COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
De Dulle Teve is brewed in the tradition of a Belgian Triple. Its high density stems from large amounts of pale malt increased with pale candi sugar in the brew kettle. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, bottle-conditioned.

De Dulle Teve keeps two to three years without major changes in taste. Further maturing, up to 10 years, will cause it to darken a little and lose some of its bitterness. The bittering of about 30 IBU is due to Goldings hops in the brew kettle.

11.2oz bottle poured into tulip glass; pure Belgian deliciousness; I don’t know why the bitch is mad - I’m not after thoroughly enjoying a couple; beautiful pale color; sharp up front; dry; maybe it’s more like a typical tripel as it ages, but not now; more like a Belgian strong ale.

Bottle. Pours a hazy dark orange with a generous lasting foamy off white head. Aroma of citrus, caramel, banana, bubblegum, clove. Taste is of bread, caramel, brown sugar, citrus, grassy, banana, spice, apple. Dense, foamy to oily mouthfeel, medium to heavy carbonation.

33cl (bb..) at Biere mit Stil 1: Worldwide Tripel Tasting@Bierhandlung Freiburg JAN2016 - Dry and earthy rendition of the style, offering some yeast-powered novelties to the by-now familiar bouquet: lemon cake and orange drops, pear tarte pierced by a friendly helping of schnaps - before then becoming quite literal if refreshing in flavour: grains, vanilla, good hop bitters. Almost quintessentially Belgian (West-Flemish) in its secure reliance on sugars to boost fruity esters and attentuation - and at 10% oddly less alcoholic than I have their beers in mind.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden colour with a huuuuge white head. Well, clear-ish - there’s a lot of yeast floating arond in it. Aroma of malt, yeast and sugar. Taste is of malt, yeast, lots of hops, citrus, spices and alcohol. Above medium body and carbonation off the scale. Bitter and dry finish. Very good.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Golden orange with HUGE, frothy, white head. Fresh aroma of strawberry bubblegum, apple, citrus and green grapes. Fruity, bready and quite sugary taste with light hop freshness. Clean, crisp and really enjoyable. Light, peppery finish.

One of the best tripels I ever had. The complex fruity aroma contains peach, apricot, apple, pear, grapes. Wish I could enjoy this beer in Korea.

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of kajser27, shared with him, Marko and franski. Dark golden coloured, huge white head, spices and alcohol in the nose. Sweet malty, spicy, fruity, evident alcohol presence and dry finish. Also mild spices and fruits in the finish. Pleasant one but nothing more than that.
