De Dulle Teve is brewed in the tradition of a Belgian Triple. Its high density stems from large amounts of pale malt increased with pale candi sugar in the brew kettle. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, bottle-conditioned.

De Dulle Teve keeps two to three years without major changes in taste. Further maturing, up to 10 years, will cause it to darken a little and lose some of its bitterness. The bittering of about 30 IBU is due to Goldings hops in the brew kettle.

33cl bottle into chalice glass. Looks appealing with a translucent deep amber body and a large rocky white head that settles to a firm lacing collar. I get oranges, lemon peel, candy sugar, pine needles, white peppers and alcohol on the nose and this is reflected on the tongue with a lively mouthfeel and medium-full body. Finishes sweet and a little sticky (certainly contrary to the stated description of 30 IBUs). A superior Belgian Tripel that goes down surprisingly easy given the high ABV.

Golden, heavy and persistent head, high carbonation. High fusels on the aroma, orange. Taste: sweet in the beginning, orange and bitterness from the hops and the orange peel. Medium body.

Pours hazy golden yellow. Lots of white head. Initial aroma is very grapey, reminiscent of grape soda. Huge, full body. Very thick, almost slimy texture. Bittersweet. Very good.

Hazy golden straw color with thick head. Aroma is full of citrus and lemon. Taste is nice and complex, with round grainy notes and citrus in the back, along with a hint of grape soda. Full of body, though perhaps a tad overcarbonated. Very nice (and will go great with our pizza.)

Shared a 33cl bottle. Pours a hazy light amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma is yeasty, citrus, wheat, spicy, malty, caramel and fruity. Average carbonation and medium body. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter, with a dry sweet finish. Overall, a very complex beer with different dimensions and very tasteful.

Classic golden Tripel color, with some sediments and a standard white foam. Intense fruity aroma, with citrus, banana and yeast. In mouth, lemon and orange are very present, accompanied with hops that give it a slight bitterness. High carbonation. An amazing one!

330ml bottle, pours hazy golden brown. Complex aroma with sweet malt, honey, banana, yeast, orange, mandarin, a bit of nuttiness. Finish is balanced and the alcohol is well hidden. Nice unfiltered tripel with lots of complexity and aroma..

Aroma: milky sweets, honey, caramel. Appearance: hazy pale gold, medium frothy white head. Taste: medium sweet. Palate: light bitterness on top of the expanding sweets, malts, average-long finish. Overall: fantastic Abbey Tripel, excellent aroma and palate. Pint at The Times, Ypres.

Bottle. Hazy light amber with a big white head. Yeasty, sweet, citrus fruit aroma. Orange, sugary sweetness, herbal/grapefruit bitterness, ripe banana, slight alcohol heat at the end. Medium body and carbonation, dry. Woody (pencil like) dry after taste.
