Black plum color, with some ruby shining and beige and foamy head. Dark chocolate, coffee and liquorice with a back of Porto wine. Slightly more bitter than a traditional stout, has a deep taste, very well balanced, to yeast, coffee and liquorice with nuts. Pretty good beer.

Bottled in 2010. A dark brown stout with a short and creamy tan head. Nice and roasty chocolate malt aroma. Flavor is soft chocolate malt and mild raisin with a slightly tangy finish. Mild bitterness and sweetness. Relatively thin body with a creamy mouthfeel. Well hidden ABV. The flavor could be a little more robust.

Tap. Black with a thick lasting khaki brown head. Aroma is mild sweet roast, red berries, raisins, prunes and slightly acidic. Taste is medium/heavy sweet, body is medium/full, average carbonation, creamy texture. Pretty complex and interesting but also very drinkable.

Draft. Pours very dark with with a huge and extremely long lasting foamy tan head. Aroma is complex with berry aromas, raisins, red berries, musk, chocolate, dark cherries, dark sugar, lacto-acidic,hops, cocoa, nuts.Taste is medium sweet, bitter and light+ sour. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is above average. Finishes with coffee, chocolate and dried fruit. Interesting brew - it’s unconventional and the nose is intriguing and quite inciting. I´ll have to try this one again.

Refrigerated 11.2 oz. brown bottle poured into a shaker. Pours black with medium brown head. Nice medium small bubble lacing, thick body, medium carbonation, and sweet roasted aroma. Taste is sweet roasted malt, milk chocolate, and cherries, This is hands down the best foreign stout I have had.

Kaatuu panimon omaan lasiin sysimustana, vaahto on runsas, kestävä ja väriltään vaaleanruskea. Haju on paahteinen, salmiakkisen suolainen, mutta kaiken kaikkiaan melko mieto. Maku on paahteinen ja suolainen, mutta ehkäpä vähän turhan kitkerä. Suutuntuma on hiilihappoinen ja melko täyteläinen. Yhteenvetona loistavan panimon hieno tuote, josta tulisi vielä parempi, jos katkeruutta saisi tasoitettua.

Aromas of fruits and esters. Smells like they used a Belgian trippel yeast or something. I think I like the aroma best actually. Very unique for a stout. Color is a cloudy dark brown, possibly because I just flew back with it from a ski trip. Flavors of bitter chocolate, dark roasted malts, and similar fruits to a quad. Finishes dry, but with a lingering fruit.

Bottiglia. Fantastica export stout dallo spiccato aroma di espresso e un retrogusto leggermente torbato, 9 gradi praticamente inesistenti, un cioccolatino al caffè da regalarsi e assaporare a pieno!

Ottima. Nel bicchiere nera con abbondante schiuma. Aroma di cioccolato al latte e di cappucino. Il malto tostato è relegato da qualche parte sotto quel manto nero e fa fatica ad uscire. Al palato cremosa, liscia, suadente. Ritornato i sentori di cappuccino e cioccolato al latte resi caldi e suadenti dalla presenza notevole dell’alcol (9 di ABV). A me è piaciuta un casino. Il papillon colpisce ancora.
