Bottle shared at home. Clear golden with enormous white head. Lemon, red apple, dry white wine or champagne, musty grains, quite herbal and light spicy. Overall the champagne and cider-like notes are quite dominant. Medium sweet with light tartness and light bitter finish. Medium bodied with full carbonation and some alcohol. Very good.

UPDATED: NOV 28, 2015 Yellow-golden color with big head. Fruity and spicy. Very fruity. Sweet fruity taste. High carbonation. No booziness. Wow. How can a Blonde be that good? EDIT: Vintage 2014, tasted in November 2015 - 1.5 years old. Milkshake-like, apricots, honey, spicy. Very intense and sirupy. Different than I remember. Maybe my palate has changed, the aging changes a lot or the feeling of having a beer in belgium makes a huge difference. Still quite typical for De Dolle: Uncompromising.

In bottiglia da 33cl. Aroma speziato, crosta di pane, frutta gialla. Al palato la gasatura pulisce il palato, alcool ben nascosto. sentori di crosta di pane, frutta gialla, fichi, leggera arancia e finale abbastanza secco

The beer reminded me a lot of the Duvel. Because of itís strong alcohol aroma (although this one has more hops in itís aroma).

(De Dolle Lichtervelds Blond) Bottle 330 ml at home, served into a tall tulip, ABV 9% Golden orange colour on the body, with intense activitu in it and huge, four fingers tall white head, with excellent retention, helped not only by its size but also from its thickness. Heavy lacing left on the glass. Nice aroma, fruity, with apricots and light peach, some yeast, soap. Really nice and unexpected taste, lots of fruits, the most clear wine notes Iíve met in a beer, faint sugar and saison-like yeast, some fresh apples, hops, very complex. Medium thin body with good carbonation and slightly dry on the palate. Very good, surpassed my expectations.

Sweet aroma, fruits, apple , bubble gum very nice. Taste yeasty, fruity, some alcohol with balanced (medium-low) bitter finish. No alcohol in aroma, very drinkable and smooth. Great , easy drinking (despite 9%) belgian blond ale

Decent blond ale. The appearance is a typical deep honey tripel color, which is pleasant. The nose is distinctly citrus and fresh. The taste follows through with an orange and grapefruit citrus tone with yeast, as well as a bitter dry hoppy finish that lingers. The palate is nice for 9%, but not as creamy and smooth as the best. Overall a refreshing strong ale, pribably best in summer and if you really like hoppy bitterness.
