Ungstrup (11353), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 21, 2004 The color is an unclear yellow and it has a beutiful head. The aroma is of corriander and yeast. The flavor is distictivly smoke - which is very unlikely for a Belgian Blond - but quite nice. Besides the smoke it also contains notes of malt and yeast before it ends on a dry corriander note. A lovely blonde. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Apr 7, 2005 Bottled. Cloudy golden, small creamy head. Flowery aroma. Medium sweet with soft, dense mouthfeel. Intensely hoppy, notes of pear and pine, and a perfectly modelled malty body. Damn good! Papsoe (10267), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 16, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) 5% ABV in my version. Pale golden, slightly hazy with a dense and very white head with some sediment at the bottom. Fresh and fruity character with a way too dominating bitterness that overturns the balance. Pity in an otherwise interesting beer. 230699 Oakes (6966), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Oct 16, 2005 Hazy dull tan colour. Lots of head. Slightly perfumey, spicy, hoppy. Fresh appley notes, hops and lots of yeast. Complex and drinkable, if a little too standard-issue example of the style. joergen (6529), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 23, 2005 Updated: Mar 3, 2008Bottled.
