3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 arjoseph (634) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 23, 2008
Small bottle into tulip. Fluffy heathery head over light grapefruit, very hazy orange beer. Citrusy, almost cherry cobweb smell at first, settles into an unfiltered wheat beer smell (blander, flabbier, with some soft banana). Reminds me a little bit of Piraat, but without a lot of the spice. Oh, wait . . . the spice is deep in the finish, no real corriander, the pepper is very dry but not black. My tongue is kind of numb; it can’t be that strong. Nice burst of carbonation intially, settles into some soft citrus fruit, maybe like if white grapes were more citric. Tasty, and not at all like other De Dolle I’ve had. In this case, that’s a bad thing, though; it’s not that special. Not bad, but not "mad."

Bottle. Peach, apple, cherry malt and yeasty alcohol aroma. Slightly hazy yellow color with large white head. Sweet peach/lemon malt and astringent alcohol/hops taste. A bit rough but still a good drink.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 douglas88 (3483) - Salt Lake City, Utah, USA - APR 6, 2008
Bottle sent over the Atlantic thanks to Brad. Pours a cloudy orange with a thick fluffy white head. The aroma is really interesting; funk, sourness, spices, and a sweet malt. The taste is pretty similar; nothing overpowering, just some spices, citrus, a funky apple taste, and a strong fizzy body. Not bad at all. Unusual. I liked it.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 footbalm (1219) - Western Minneapolis Suburbs, Minnesota, USA - APR 6, 2008
Bottle shared from Douglas88. pours a pale boring light yellow but one glass had a massive white foamy head. Lots of yeast with this, lots. Upon further inspection, it woild seem that there was maybe some lemony stuff going on as well as a bit of spice that I can not pit my finger on. weird brew.

Aarhus
Bottled
Great hoppy bitterness and aroma/flavor
A bit too much alcohol domination

Bottle: Poured a murky orange with floaters, the head is white and thick. Aroma is yeasty with spices. The taste is rich caramel malt with nice hoppy spices. Leaves a dry veggie finish with sweet sugar. Another fine De Dolle product.
