MoritzF (3690), Ruhrpott, Germany Dec 24, 2005 (bottle) Hazy amber colour with a frothy tanned medium head. Vinous, sweet tastmalty aroma with caramel, yeasts and a dense sourish note. Sweet flavour, medium to full body, crispy mouthfeel. Initially sweet toastmalty with caramel and yeasts, dried fruits (plums, raisins), sugary sweet but harmonic malty finish with peppery spices, with slightly tart and bitter hoppy notes. The alcohol is strong but well integrated and warming. Aromatic and tasty brew.
