(bottle) Hazy amber colour with a frothy tanned medium head. Vinous, sweet tastmalty aroma with caramel, yeasts and a dense sourish note. Sweet flavour, medium to full body, crispy mouthfeel. Initially sweet toastmalty with caramel and yeasts, dried fruits (plums, raisins), sugary sweet but harmonic malty finish with peppery spices, with slightly tart and bitter hoppy notes. The alcohol is strong but well integrated and warming. Aromatic and tasty brew.

Aug 21, 2008 Bottle @ Café Gollem. Reddish brown colour with a big tan head. Lots of carbonation. Aroma of dark fruits, tart, spices and brown sugar. Flavour is initially sweet, then sour fruits, roasted malts, caramel, yeast. The sourness spoils it for me.

Aug 5, 2008 Bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a beautiful foamy head. Aroma sweet malts, spices and yeast. The alcohol is present as well. Good mouthfeel as the beer kinda explodes in your mouth. Flavour is dark fruits, spices, alcohol and a bit tart.
