Bottle (thanks to the semi-franconian bierkoning !) Hazy, mid-sized creamy off-white head; distinctive fruity, a bit vinous nose; sweet flavour, full bodied; drier, a bit chocolatey finish with a distinctive bitterness in the aftertaste. A well made, full flavoured brew !

Aug 5, 2008 Bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a beautiful foamy head. Aroma sweet malts, spices and yeast. The alcohol is present as well. Good mouthfeel as the beer kinda explodes in your mouth. Flavour is dark fruits, spices, alcohol and a bit tart.

Jul 30, 2008 A hazy brown colored beer, with a big foamy beige head. The aroma of dark sweet malts, yeast, some spices and fruits. The taste of caramel, dark dried fruits and alcohol. Tones of nuts and yeast. A little bitter aftertaste. A very good beer.
