Bruce’s Birthday Bash at the Craft Clerkenwell. Another super generous share by Bruce. Hazy gold beer, little white head. Palate is light and with mild fine carbonation. Semi dry and smooth, a nice palate! Slightly sour fruits, dried fruits. A little malt cream. Bitterish seltzer minerals. Mild red wine adds interest and brings red berry fruits. Finishes light with the same basic sourness. Interesting and tasty but nothing like as rich as the 2000.

That’ll be me 20K then @ ChrisO’s. Big thanks to Matteo for letting me try this again and right next to the 2000. Hazy gold - amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Good tangy fruits - blood orange. Spice and tangy floralness. Port Wine red berries and vibrant red wine, Light semi dry finish. Delicious - much better than when I first tried it. Aging very well.

Bottle shared at Bruce’s 30th Birthday Bash - CBC Clerkenwell, London. Thanks to the birthday boy himself. Pours clear gold with a fine, white cream head. Lots of tangy fruits in the nose, berries, sweat. Medium to big sweet flavor, more tangy berries, light funk, alcohol, some rich bread. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish with some toasty sugars, tangy berries, more sweat, golden raisins. A bit but, but the overall character is nice. Could likely improve with a bit of age.
