Bruce’s Birthday Bash at the Craft Clerkenwell. Another super generous share by Bruce. Hazy gold beer, little white head. Palate is light and with mild fine carbonation. Semi dry and smooth, a nice palate! Slightly sour fruits, dried fruits. A little malt cream. Bitterish seltzer minerals. Mild red wine adds interest and brings red berry fruits. Finishes light with the same basic sourness. Interesting and tasty but nothing like as rich as the 2000.

Bottle, 75cl corked. A hazy, orange colored beer topped by a dense, finger-thick off-white head leaving some lacings. The aroma has a touch of nailpolish remover, it’s vinous and lighlty spiced, with lots of fruityness. Tropical fruits and some sugar. The flavor has a little sourness, with vinous hints, spice notes and quite a lot of fruityness. It’s quite warming on the palate, full-bodied and effervescent, and feeling dry even though it’s sweet. It’s quite bitter too, both in the initial and the final flavor. Starting quite boring and sort of disappointing this one, but then it turns out to be really pleasant, but I have to admit I prefer the regular edition by far. 131122

Bottle at New Bruces 30th Day. yes its nice goid bordeaux flavours. But they dominate the already fabulous base beer. Do if i want a glass of classy bordeaux i can do that and if i want stille nacht i can do that too. Not great as a combo
