Bottle at New Bruces 30th Day. yes its nice goid bordeaux flavours. But they dominate the already fabulous base beer. Do if i want a glass of classy bordeaux i can do that and if i want stille nacht i can do that too. Not great as a combo

Bruce’s Birthday Bash at the Craft Clerkenwell. Another super generous share by Bruce. Hazy gold beer, little white head. Palate is light and with mild fine carbonation. Semi dry and smooth, a nice palate! Slightly sour fruits, dried fruits. A little malt cream. Bitterish seltzer minerals. Mild red wine adds interest and brings red berry fruits. Finishes light with the same basic sourness. Interesting and tasty but nothing like as rich as the 2000.

thewolf (9860) - Kolding, DENMARK - APR 12, 2013
Bottle, bought @ Zombier, Spain.
Pours clear red with a small, frothy, off-white film head. Aroma is tart, oaky, fat maltiness, red currant, Pinot Noir grapes. Very low carbonation, fat and oily mouthfeel. Flavour is elegantly vinious, red currant, oak, grapes, red wine, sweet sugary, apples, plums, figs, caramel. Fantastic elegance and it really transcends that wine/beer barrier.

bierkoning (8953) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - APR 25, 2013
Corked bottle. Amber color, firm lasting head. Oak, peach and vanilla in the aroma. Nutmeg and bubblegum. Bubblegum, oak, vanilla and wine in the flavor. The barrel aging and vinous notes are quite obvious and help improve this beer considerably. Alcoholic but complex, a worthy #8888

Tmoney99 (8780) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 16, 2012
Bottle 2010. Poured cloudy reddish copper color with an average fizzy head that lasted with excellent lacing. Medium to heavy complex dark fruit, wood and yeast aroma. Medium to full body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy dark fruit wood sour flavor with a medium to heavy sour finish of long duration with a small alcohol bite. This is a standout beer
