Sweet and sugary nose, light funk and acidity. Taste is cotton candy, light fruit, rather bland, moderately sweet, lightly sour, some oxidation. Very disappointing.

Woodshed 2.0. Bottle share courtesy of dak. It pours with a slightly hazy copper to gold body that supports a near white head of foam. The aroma offers up earthy raspberry sweetness, some dankness, apples and then tartness and booze at the end of the draw. The taste delivers sweet apples and raspberries and then quickly pulls up tartness, spiced apple and booze. The flavors go wonderfully together

Wenig säuerlicher Antrunk, unglaublich vollmundig. Holzig, vollmundig, breit, die Säuerlichkeit ist weiterhin ein wichtiger Bestandteil. Vergleichsweise wenig hopfig, rund, fantastisch. 12/13/12/14/12/13

Bottle @ a recent tasting... Poured dark brown/ruby with a thin head. Nose of vinous fruits and wood. Tasted awesome. Big vinous tones, dark sugars and malts, wine-like alcohol notes that offered a warming finish. Bread-like malt added toasted grains and sweetness to this already complex and tasty beer.

750mL bottle at Kulminator, pours a cloudy orange amber with a slowly receding voluminous beige head. Aroma is incredibly complex, full of deep red wine notes, toffee, some dark fruits and Belgian yeast -- very deep and multilayered. Flavour matches accordingly with an incredibly complex spectrum of notes, with red wine barrels, toffee and dark fruits. So many layers to this. The red wine barrels accentuate the base beer remarkably well, creating a very deeply complex beer. The ABV is almost completely hidden, with only a mild burn and wonderful warming effect. Outstanding stuff. World class beer.

Bottle - Pours ruby amber with a thin off white ring of head. Nose is light citrus rind and oak, dry with a ton of deep red wine character. There’s still a sweet bready malt base, but it’s covered. Taste is lots of dry, fruity red wine that transitions into lots of sweet, caramelly sweetness. The red wine dryness comes through on the finish, along with the sweetness. There’s and interplay between the red wine and the sweetness that goes back and forth. Slick and syrupy in the mouth, with minimal carbonation. Good, but not worth the price.

Bottle shared with Thomas. Thanks for the bottles, Thomas! Pours peach gold. Nose and taste of sweet fruit, muscat grape, lightly alcohol soaked fruit, light funk, light toffee, Belgian bread and oak. Medium body. Complex and delicious.

Bottle shared at Bruce’s 30th Birthday Bash - CBC Clerkenwell, London. Thanks to the birthday boy himself. Pours clear gold with a fine, white cream head. Lots of tangy fruits in the nose, berries, sweat. Medium to big sweet flavor, more tangy berries, light funk, alcohol, some rich bread. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish with some toasty sugars, tangy berries, more sweat, golden raisins. A bit but, but the overall character is nice. Could likely improve with a bit of age.

Reddish brown pour, small tannish head. Flavors are really everywhere. tasty, but not certain its a harmonious beer. Balsamic vinegar, cherries, stone fruit, yeast, oak, red wine, grapes. Pretty unique brew. Gotta wonder what a few years will do to this one.

750 ml bottle. Pours a hazy tawny brown with light head. Aromas of oak, pitted fruit, with sharp resin and phenol notes. Flavors of dried apricots, resin, and dusty fruit. Actually very good...

Thanks Brian. Brown orange with a thin bubbled head. Some tartness that comes out over some time but dough and eatthiness. A little brett and lactic Acid. Sweet tart lemons and oranges and apples. Tartness is kind of strong as is the alcohol. This seems to get beter in my glass the wood and fruit comes out. It works. 7/3/8/4/156
