(Bottle 33 cl) Hazy amber golden with a small, white head. Lightly tart, citrusy nose with a whiff of yeast. Fairly full body with sweet, malty accents. A honeyish character and some indefinable spices. Exciting all right at the mo, but will probably develop a lot with aging. 260806

Aroma is sweetish and fruity a bit raw with the malts. Taste is similar and again very fruity, needs a bit of aging to finish it.

Bottled@RBESG’06. Hazy orange, small white head. Fruity, slightly sour aroma, like from sea buckthorn. Also notes of leather. Carbonated, fruity, champagne-like. Taste of mango and apricot. Aftertaste is fruity and a bit alcoholic. Good stuff.

[Bottle] Hazy yellow. Sourish, almond paste and red berries in aroma. Cheese. Beery backbone in flavour, little acidic and alcoholic. Almond paste again. Red berries. Short aftertaste. Intense warming alco feel. Good bet with cheese here!

(Sampled from bottle, thanks Marsiblursi) Shady orange color, white head. Sour, vineous, sweet berry, cheese and alcohol scent. Very big mouthfeel. Warming alcohol feeling very apparent! Belgian ale taste, mixed with berries, acid and alcohol.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2007 (Bottle) Pours hazy golden. Small white head. Aroma is very sour, allmost like a lambic. Berries. Vineous with some alcohol. Cheese. Notes of ginger. Flavour is both sour and have the belgian sweetness. Alcohol warmth. Maybe a bit too alcoholy and young. A bit salty. Some fruits. Some wood. Dried plums. The alcohol taste is so strong that it´s hard to notice the body. Some lambic -ish tones. Creamy.

Bottle (Chelmsford Beer Festival): Alcoholic nose, a bit of burn in the mouth too, but not unpleasant. Very fruity. Golden in colour with a lasting white head. Oaky, woody and fruity. Not bad.

Bottle. Sorry for being a bit of a bastartd here, but i didn’t like this one anywhere near what i thought i would. This is overloaded with alcohol. Lots of stewed plummy fruit, overly acidic orange fruit characters, and way too much alcohol in the finish. Perhaps it need some age of course, as this was just too much.
