Aroma was tangy with hints of hops, fruit, spices, and sugar. Taste was clean with mainly the spices taking over, but a hint of the sweet fruits still playing in the overall taste. An excellent beer that I would recommend to all. Bragesnak (2361), Aarhus, Denmark

Very fruity with notes of apple and candy. Very sweet start, but it is quickly overpowered by the alcohol. Lots of yeast and grain with bitterness and hops. Did not like it too much. The alcohol was way too intense. lassem (331), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Mar 22, 2008 2007 edition - bottle. The cap full of light brown yeasts. De dolle is so caracteristic. The nose is complex as hell with sweet fruits as oranges and pinaples, also hints of corianter. You clearly sense the special yeast that you don´t find in any other beer. Its wild and creamy and easy to drink when you think of how many percent/alcohol it holds. A great beer. smith4498 (963), Miami, Florida, USA

Medium body with an almost effervescent cabonation. Sweet and fruity with a strong alcohol taste. Very different and good. edden (927), cow- lumbus, Ohio, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Mar 9, 2008 Bottle from South Bay Drugs and Liquor. Created a huge development of foam that was not easily containable once poured, it practically overflowed out of the bottle and from the edge of my glass cup. The visual of the liquid is a dirty opaque yellow that is beyond hazed with sediment and other debris. In the nose a decent proportion of spicy yeast is detected but is somewhat mild and the alcohol is almost non existent. The flavor is a tart yet tasty serving of spices and the alcohol goes undetected. Impressing Belgian ale that I haven’t ever seen available before. ckau (26), north east, Maryland, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 8, 2008 Cloudy Orange hue, full of yeast sediment and alcohol. Sweet, fruity flavor that is very abrupt on the tongue. Good warmth from alcohol makes this a nice sipper...
