Golden coloured, big white head. Spices and grapes in aroma and flavour. Nice triple style beer, but not that special.

Bottle (thanks DA for sharing_... Poured hazy, golden amber with a thin head. Spicy yeasts, some awkward fermented flavors. Biscuity malt, light fruits. Vinous and boozy. This one didn’t do it for me.

De dolle zannephin. 330cl bottle.. thanks to jeppe for pouring some of this retired de dolle offering.. Pours a hazy cidery orange brown and a thin frothy white head... Aroma of pungent wine, yeast, and a little bit of oxidation... Flavors are semi-sweet. Light on the wine, sherry-like with mild oxidation. Body has thinned out some. Interesting. 7/3/6/2/13

Bottle at Erasmus 2009. Large, throthy head. A Golde beer but very hazy. Aroma of elderflower, lemon and yeast Light yeasty, moderately bitter and very triple like character and white wine. VERY VERY carbonated finish which is almost unpleasant as i wanted to shake half the fizz out. Far too much yeast was put in this bottle - would work with age but st present far too much yeast and carbonation as when settled half the glass was filled will floating yeast.

Had at Erasmus. Not as special as other de Dolle but still enjoyable to drink and I’ll pretty much drink their waste water. Odd flavors, kind of funny like their logos.

Bottle at RBG Low Countries 2005 Large, rocky head. Clear, blond body. Lots of bubbles. Nose of flowers and dough. Lightly sweet, moderately bitter finish. Medium bodied. It was supposed to be mixed up with white wine, but I didn’t notice any.
