Van de tap in de Brouwerijbar. Caramelkleurig met witte kraag. Erg licht voor een bok en de rode kleur ontbreekt. Vrij watergi en dun in de mond. Smaak eerst zoet, dan licht bitter met wat mout. Nasmaak is zoet, honingachtig.

Courtesy of bierkoning, tnx Edo! Deep amber-brown color, good creamy off-white head. Aroma has caramel, yeast and some alcohol. Medium-bodied. Quite bitter as a bock, some alcohol bite too. Then some caramel maltyness in the background. Overall palate is a bit watery. Not very special bock.

Bottle 330ml. @ home on the terrace.

Clear medium amber colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, dry hay - straw - grass, light caramel, moderate hoppy, dry grass - hay - straw. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration, caramel, bubble gum notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110726]

New label, new recipe, new name. Bottled. Malt, caramel and a hint of chocolate in the aroma. Medium bodied. Roastmalt flavor with caramelly and chocolate notes. Roastbitter finish. I am pleasantly surprised by this bok.
