COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bought is Elsloo in a liquer shop which has burned down since then... Dark golden color, average fluffy white head, lacing. Hoppy nose. Aroma soft malts and hops. Flavour is about the same with some yeasty tones. Not bad, but nothing exciting.

Bottle: Medium vast thicker white head, disappears slow, on top of a hazy darker orange amber colored beer. Smell is pretty fresh: hops, apple, gass and something light yeasty. Taste is nice bitter with many hops, some citrus, peach and apple, more bitter than sweet, still some fruity sweets, some herbs and a nice malty touch. Aftertaste is herby and hoppy with a nice bitterness and a light hint of creamy fruity sweetness. Medium carbo, soft light tingly at first than a creamy mouthfeel, good medium (to lightly fuller) body and a creamy texture. Guess I was lucky to taste a fresh one... Nice crispy brew. Very cool that they used hops from the castle garden!

Bottled. The aroma has caramel malts, hint of grassy hops. Clear, amber-brown coloured beer with a not-lasting, medium head. The taste is sweet, has caramel malts, light fruits, some grass. Bit on the sticky side. Light-medium bodied beer. Cool to use the home grown hops from the castle.
