3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 skortila (4160) - Baarn, - MAY 11, 2005
This beer is a wheat beer. I added it under ’Fruit beer’ because of the ingredient ’vlierbloesem’ (Dutch word, no idea how to translate) which is some sort of fruit I guess. Fresh, wheaty and blossomlike, fruity smell. Pleasant. Cloudy, yellow-orange coloured with a lasting, white, medium head. taste is moderate sweet, slightly bitter quite fresh. Good body. Wheaty and flowery/fruity taste with some citrus. Even some pleasant roasted malt notes in the aftertaste. I like this brew very much.

After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity wall adhesive white foam collar which was fine and even of structure. The beer also contained much carbonic acid in the glass. The beer has a thick blond color and a light citrus taste. The after tast of the beer is hoppy bitter with a flower touch. This beer smells fruity.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 jbrus (4990) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - NOV 18, 2006
Bottled. Aroma of blossoms, fruity and light herbal. Pale golden, small diminishing white head, no lace. Sweet, citric, blossom, light bitter, herbal. Soft and a little sticky. Ends up looking like a lambic. Think it needs some adjustments but certainly has potential. Sitting in the sun in front of the brewery with this beer on tap must be great.
