Countbeer (1943) - Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - MAR 30, 2012
Bottle: Medium creamy light light yellow ish head that disappears pretty quick. The beer has a hazy darker to red ish orange colored beer. Smell barley malts, autumnal herbs, earth, some sweets from red to darker fruits, roosvice and sweet grains. Taste grains, barleys, malts, hops, cream, yeast, daker fruit, herbs, some hints of something sweet/sweet grains and a slight hint of honey. Aftertate is grainy with a hint of hop bitterness, some dried fruit tones and yeasty herbs. Low carbo, light spicy on the tongue but an overall soft mouthfeel, medium body and a light creamy texture. Strange herby malty bitterness that tends to go to a bit nasty...

Koelschtrinker (7060) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - MAY 30, 2011
Dunkler, etwas wässriger Antrunk, absolut unspektakulär. Wenig getreidig, etwas gerstig. Erfrischend. 10/9/9/10/10/9

Bottle 33cl.
Clear medium yellow orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, dry white wine, light woody. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, dry dry light vinegar finish. Body is medium, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is soft. [20091004]

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Clear golden with floating impurities and a small off-white head. Aroma is more like dry white wine. Medium body, sweet fruit and malts, but ends fairly dry. Not exactly exciting. 041009

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin disappearing tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of over ripe fruits, spices, and bread. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and over ripe fruits, leading to a dry woody finish. Reminds me somewhat of Barley Wine.
