Bottle @ YNWA. Pours a muddy pale orange with a small film head. Aroma is quite mild, some spices and maltiness. Quite dry mouthfeel, weakly hoppy flavour, some malty sweetness and oranges. There is a little unwanted yeasty aftertaste hidden in the dryness.

Countbeer (1943) - Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - MAR 14, 2012
Bottle: Small to medium lively (vast on top) airy and lively head that disappears pretty quick and leaves a small lacing on top of a light hazy to more normal hazy orange colored beer. Smell wood, caramel, fruit, orange, apple, mango, some herbs, hops and hints of soap and sweets. Taste older yeast and fruit segments, with an overpowering but not too strong bitterness. Some nasty bitter hop tones and manure/perfume touches in the mouth. Strange mix, maybe a bit old...? Hops, bitter, some light malts, yeast, fruit, apple, tangerine, light glue, hints of soap, perfume, manure. Strange mix but not really unbalanced. Bitter herby malty manur-ish aftertaste. The bitterness in the aftertaste seems to be more pleasant than in the taste itself. Low to medium carbo, soft light tingly mouthfeel, medium body and a creamy texture. When this beer warms up/chambered a bit, it tastes a little bit better, still nothing exceptional.

Koelschtrinker (7060) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - MAY 30, 2011
Herb-hefiger, leicht trockener Antrunk. Süßlich, hellmalzig, etwas alkoholisch. Monoton, schnell wird das Bier wässrig und langweilig, wenig attraktiv, trocken-herb zum Ende. Wenig zitrus-bitter. 8/6/6/5/8/5

Bosskie (226) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 29, 2009
draught in Wageningen, NL. This is the home brew of a pub there. Opaque blond beere with a weak head. It has a light fruity aroma with a wholesome grainy background. Hints of pear. Watery sour-bitter taste with very little sweet. Wholesome bready palate with metallic fruity development: pears, apples.. and especially cane sugar.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a huge white head. Acidic to mild orange fruity aroma. Fruity and acidic base flavour. Towards quite citric and almost brettish. Dry and malty with a mild spice note into the finish. Sharp. Slight woody.

Ungstrup (23961) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - SEP 8, 2008
Bottled. A murky dark golden beer with a creamy off-white head. The aroma is sweet and at the same time acidic with notes of caramel and malt. The flavor is like an acidic Dutch beer as others I’ve had, with notes of fruit and yeast. Far from perfect.
