Bottle split at Chriso, thanks to BY, 10/07/14. Hazed golden orange with moderate off white spotting and edgework. Nose is peach, floral, pissoi, green berry fruit, light must, touch dungy, citric sherbets, funk. Taste comprises lemon rind, spice, light musty dankness, tangy satsuma, piss, straw, dank wood, tarte citric peel, funky undertones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid enough but probably my lowest rated beer from De Garde which is testament to them at 3.6!

Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate gin, citrus peel, and florals. Itís a golden-orange with a minimal white head that quickly fades to almost nothing with a few stray bubbles around the edges of the glass. The flavor starts with tart citrus. The finish has moderate tart lemon, gin, and a touch of florals. Itís light bodied with mild carbonation.

Bottle... Pours clear and yellow with no head. Smells fruity - real fruity; like itís treated with tropical fruits in the secondary, but apparently theyíre elderberries or something like that. Medium to full-bodied with lazy carbonation. Tart, fruity and lightly spicy with a whisper of tannic bitterness. Lengthy, tart, raspy finish. Bottle courtesy of landhoney!

Bottle thanks to Neemo. Pours a cloudy orange with small white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong gin and lemon zest. Medium mouth, gin, oak, lemon, funk, really enjoyed this one.

Bottle. Clear yellow pour with a fleeting white head. Sour fruit aromas. Wacky, is this a gin barrel, with lots of floral notes. Average body and mouthfeel.

Bottle sampled at Muckfest V on 7/11/14. Thanks Pud! Clear gold to amber pour with a thin white head. Funky and floral nose with pepper and apricot notes. Funky apricot flavor with some pepper before a sour lemon finish.

> Gin barrel explosive, light bodied, bright sour blonde

[ Bottle ][ 750mL ][ brainlair ][ Trade ][ Tired Hands Stemware ][ 7.19.14 ]
>> Full haze golden pour, weak foam. Nose is intense gin barrel, yellow rose, big botanicals. Oh baby. Taste is tart, big lemon, clean, light bodied, similar gin forward lighter saison type body much cleaner than the Saison Desay. Pure Gin barrel forward, very good. Salty, refreshing, mild chlorine. Overall, I feel like this a beer to showcase the gin barrel in every way. The Saison Desay did that, but had a harsh, chemical body. This one is really drinkable. -1 for the chlorine here and there, but overall, yummy.

>!< flashes of chlorine
