Poured a light purple pinkish color with aromas of light tart blue berries and subtle tart wheat. Flavors are light wet wood with light vinegar and some tart wheat light tart blueberries. Light and easy drinker like this a lot. Solid as usual from these guys.

Bottle (750 ml) at tasting. Thanks to Geoff for sending me this bottle. Hazy pinkish color with a medium quickly recessing off-white head and little lacing. Standard De Garde flavor profile with a super fruity notes (in this case blueberry) and a taste dominated by acidity. This one isn’t overly acetic though so, while not super complex, this is rather drinkiable and enjoyable.

Bottle shared. Hazy pink purple pour with thin white head. Aroma is quite nice, very fruity, tons of blueberry, sharp lemon zesty character, mild vegetal notes. Taste is quite acidic, sharp acidity, very lemony. Palate is med-light bodied, dry with low carbonation.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy purple with a small white head. Nose is very funky, with loads of blueberries. Flavour isn’t quite as complex, with blueberries and a little stone fruitiness. Not overly funky. Really nice blend.

Bottle tasted at a hotel share in Athens, OH. Hazy red pink color. Minimal ring of off-white head. Loose bits of lace. Wonderful big blueberry flavor, mild wheat. Nice bigger sourness, light sweet. Lighter to medium body, smooth kind of crisp lighter carbonation, nice mild slickness to the finish. Bit of vinegar. But pretty tasty blueberry berliner.

Poured into my teku. Head was almost reactive and disappeared in seconds. Actually reminded me of alka seltzer. Never mind the last comment. Nose is lactic with big wheat notes. Flavor is big lemon zest with just the right amount of tartness and saltiness that makes this extremely drinkable.

750 ml bottle to snifter (shared by jmborggren). Looks good; a transparent blueberry flesh with bubbly eggshell head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells tart, biscuity, and mildly bretty with notes of blueberry. Tastes like it smells with a pleasantly tart medium light-bodied mouthfeel. Good stuff.

Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a hazy light purple with small white head. The aroma is strong oak and blueberry. Thin mouth, sour blueberry, light acidity, good.

Pours blood purple, very much like a lighter pinot. Quick dissipating bubbles are pink, brilliant clarity. Smells of must, blueberry, oak; the nose is a little distant compared to other bu’s - but still robust on the broad spectrum of beer. Flavor is tart, some cherry character, some blueberry, tannins. Finish is salivating and earthy. Thin with moderate on high carb. Nice beer. Prefer the imperial version.

Big bottle in a teku. Pours hazy purple/blue with an off-white head. Aroma of blueberries, sourness/tartness, some pale malts, light oak, and some more blueberry. Flavor the same with a great fruitiness and sourness. Average texture. A really good beer.
