COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our version of a Berliner Weisse, but fermented with ambient yeast and bacteria. Tart with citrus and fruit notes, a subtle grain character, and a hint of funk.

750, capped. Pours a hazy pale gold with a modest skim of white foam across the top. Lemony nose with a bit of white wine and some gentle sweetness. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Sweet lemons and white wine on the mid palate. Very refreshing and flavorful--unbelievable for the abv.

(En fût à la brasserie): Puissance lactique évidente et une constante acidité d’agrumes pales et de caramboles dans une liquide à la charpente vraiment impressionnante. C’est tout petit mais très grand à la fois.

Bottle thanks to mike. Nose is lightly fruity. Some light butter. Taste is very tart initially but then dies off as a watery thinness with a chest thumping burn. Very lactic as it warms. Nice and refreshing.

Bottle at home with friends, courtesy of Dave. Pour is hazy yellow with a small white had that quickly dissipated. Baby powder, corn, funky, cheesy, some lemon rind, guava and doughy aroma. Taste is guava, pineapple, lemon, biscuit, cheesy, and funky with a lightly sour finish. Light body with medium carbonation. Something is off with this one.

Pour out of 750 mL bottle, thanks Dave! Hazy golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of slight cooked corn, grain, veggie into a bit of yeast, bread, slight funky oak into a bit of lemon, slight earth. Taste was a mix of sour fruit, grain, hints of veggie, corn, slight yeast, hints of biscuit, finishing fairly tart, slightly oaky. Something off to me.

Bottle @ Steve_0 during my 10k tick fest. Thanks Dave! Pours a hazy, light yellow appearance with a white head. Grassy, herbal, straw, light lemon, light funky aroma. Watery, lightly twangy, funky lemon flavor. A little bit of horse blanket. Lightly tart. Thin. Kind of fun.
