COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our version of a Berliner Weisse, but fermented with ambient yeast and bacteria. Tart with citrus and fruit notes, a subtle grain character, and a hint of funk.

Bottle; Pour is murky light golden grapefruit really - there’s a frothy white head initial - it vanishes in this glass - it vanishes quickly. The nose is spent grains - lemongrass and lemon zest, really - A touch of baked bread, with light spiced notes. The flavor profile is tart bitter, dusty, light bodied, light lactic, lemon tart, with more interesting spiced undertones. Its nice, to be sure... but....

750 ml bottle to snifter (thanks Ferris!). Looks good; a cloudy lighter pineapple with eggshell head that dissipates quickly. Smells good too; tart and mildly wheaty with a nice lemon/lime presence. Tastes like it smells with a pleasant medium-bodied mouthfeel. Pleasantly lactic, but not overly so. A great example of the style. Frankly, I think the base if better than many of the varietals - which are all tasty.

Hazy straw colored with a medium sized white head and splotchy lacing. Bright lemon, soft wheat, lactic notes with vivid acidity. Straightforward but supremely delicious. Medium to light bodied, moderate to lively carbonation, assertive acidity, refreshing.

Soft straw pale pour with a wispy white head. Apple skins show in the nose with an earthy and rustic funk. A touch of bile. Earthy/funky bile-ish quality in the flavor with a lite acidity and rustic character. Light bodied and dry with a tart acidity.

Poured a cloudy golden yellow color with light aromas of sour wheat. Flavors are light sour wheat, some apples, light funk and some lemon. Very nice, very sessionable, nice in the Florida heat.

Not much of an aroma. But one fantastic beer. Pours a very lite almost cider look. Very tart with lemon and a faint hint of banana on the back side. Very refreshing.

Pours clear Golden yellow with frothy Whitehead that quickly dissipates. Aroma is clean lactic tartness. I personally do not pick up the fruitiness or funk. Taste is clean electric sour with mild citrus notes. Tastes as if it was fermented only with lacto. Moderate tartness, not overdone. Overall good Berliner, but a bit too simple. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a clear gold with no head. The aroma is lemon and wheat. Thin mouth, dough, citrus, clean, very crushable.
