COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A blend of three Gin barrels of 14 month aged Saison. We added orange peel in barrel to highlight the beautiful citrus character from the wild fermentation, then subtly dry hopped at blending with floral and fruit forward northwest hops. Big orange and spicy botanical aromas and flavors.

Bottle... Pours murky and straw-colored with a small, white, bubbly head. The nose is earthy, pungent, grapefruity and bready. Full-bodied with lazy carbonation. The flavor is quite tart and fruity with notes of orange peel and pith. Finishes tart and bready with a hint of crusty bitterness.

Bottle: Dense, burnt sunshine-orange body, opaque with an off-white head that literally diffuses into nothing in seconds. Aroma smells like a Screwdriver made with Gin. Big-time orange juice aroma, gin, spruce, light pine needles, mild earthy & leafy hop notes, a touch of spicy oak, & some herbal overtones throughout. Flavor has a nicely tart orange juice punch out of the gate. Light farmhouse hay & wood character. Gin in present, but light enough to not steal the show. Mild grassy, earthy, herbal tones. Faint pine. Little bits of grapefruit flesh & grapefruit peel, too. Orange juice & dry oak finish. Absolutely awesome stuff.

Bottle from little bro. Pours a cloudy as hell orange. Aroma is tart, citrus, and get the gin. Taste Is fun forward, with a lite citrus note. Rely easy drinker. Dry, quenching, yum.

Beautiful blending of dry hopped herbal and trebly clementine fruit notes with dry must, clean acids and subtle malt construction. Kumquat, apricot, and clementine extreme; hard to find where acids end and hop oils begin; superb.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow pour with a white head. Mild orange and liquor aromas. Starts off nice with tart citrus highlights and ends in a gin bomb. Good body and mouthfeel.

Bottle - pours golden. Nice citrus smell. The taste starts nice with some oranges and tangerines. But then the after taste is bang in your fast. The gin just hits you in the fast and not in the good way.

Murky mango juice pour, dead-tepid after the fizzy bright white gravity-head dies within a second, tepid so bad it’s an immediate turn-off. Cleaning product Desay nose I’ve sniffed before, heavy gin-orange rind combo sparkles underneath, very bight and lively thanks to low sweetness. Salty gose-like front palate is sour, lemon-lime juicyness before the bitter orange+gin mid, complex and bursting nicely, then florals and lightly vegetal bitterness growing through the thin finish, watery body is flabby, empty aside from the stingingly fizzy body reminiscent of Sunday hangovers and mimosa. Surprised to find this verified as saison, as GT notes the acidity so high and sourness clearly the prominent element.

> Sour, citrusy saison with green mango, yellow rose, spruce tip, and grapefruit

[ Bottle ][ 75cl ][ ericdevin ][ Trade ][ Chardonnay Stemware ][ 9.20.14 ]
>> Pours a full haze, super opaque mango juice with dwindling white acid cut foam. No retention or lace. Nose is quite fresh and juicy- loads of Ransom gin, juniper, yellow rose, spruce tips, caramel. Flashes of De Garde’s recent plagues of chlorine and chemical. Taste is tangy, super high carbonation, high acidity for saison, margarita mix. Juicy body of green mango, huge lime, white grapefruit rind, salty, quenching. Medium bitterness. Super high carbonation and dry body gives this a saison case. The fruitiness and high acid make a case for American sour ale. Whatever it ends up being classified as, this is a sour fruity saison. And quite the good one at that.

>!< slight chlorine and chemical
