750 ml bottle. Thanks Aaron! Pours hazy orange-pinkish with small lacing on tap. Nose has strawberries and even more strawberries with a light funk. Taste has as other mentioned before some light off flavour. The strawberry feels a tad artificial and some light plastic notes. Lowers the score a bit but still a fantastic sour.

Bottle from Doug, thanks man! Cloudy yellow pour with minimal white head. Aroma is oak, sour funk and a bit of strawberry, something off. Woa that is infected, nail polish, it burns, so horrible, rubber. Drain pour.

750ml bottle. Poured a cloudy/murky amberish color with a white head. Floaters / chunks (strawberry chunks?). Definitely strawberry, fresh and not artificial. Others were getting a stronger plastic in the aroma - I could see some, but it did not bother me and I really liked the way the strawberries were done. Nice semi-sour finish.

Bottle... Muckfest 2014... Hazy peach-colored pour with a small, creamy off-white head. The aroma is mostly about Huge strawberry greatness, intermingled with a faint note of plastic. Medium to full-bodied and creamy with restrained carbonation. The flavor is very sour and acidic. Loaded with fresh strawberries and woody funk. Crisp, tart finish.

Bottle. Cloudy light amber pour with a thin ring of head. Big strawberry puree aroma with a little oak and light funk. Tastes moderately sour. Lots of strawberries and oak. Light funkiness and some light apricot too. Nice tartness in the finish. Really good.

Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate funky strawberry with a hint of lemon and oak. It pours a hazy dull orange with a small white head that quickly fades to a thin ring. The flavor starts with a quick dose of moderate funky strawberry. The finish has moderate sour lemon and more funk. Itís light bodied with light-moderate carbonation.

Bottle: Thanks, Eddie. Murky, yellow-ish body with an eerie pink hue to it, a moderately thin white collar forms at the edges. Aroma is HUGE strawberry. This might be the most strawberry Iíve gotten from a beer before. Musty, lightly funky strawberry, moderate candy sweetness with undertones of spicy floral & herbal hops. Taste is quite musty & has a strong, rotten wood presence. Still, a strong strawberry character flows throughout. Sweet strawberry candy, earthy floral notes, must, & a lactic sourness that grows from mid-palate til the finish. Dry, lightly acidic aftertaste; light, lingering oak, dry strawberry, & musty earth.

> Hyper phenolic plastic bomb

[ Bottle ][ 750ml ][ brainlair ][ Trade ][ Globe ][ 8.2.14 ]
>> Pours a full haze pink/peach color with soda white foam. Nose is extremely phenolic, like opening a plastic storage bin for the first time. Behind the phenols is this awesome juicy ripe strawberry, but even after decanting for an hour it is still present. 90% plastic 10% strawberry short cake. Taste is very salty, extremely acidic, big lemon, seedy rich strawberry. Disappointing. Hot finish, heavy salt. Doesnít really feel like a Berliner as the citric acid component devastates any lactic acid.

>!< phenolic, salty, highly acidic

Bottle sample at Muckfest V on 7/12/14. Thanks Pud! Cloudy orange pour with a thin white head. Nose of strawberry, plastic and sourness. Strawberry and woody oak flavor before a sour finish.

A - pours a rosy pink copper with almost no head and no lacing. S - interesting nose. Strongest is those little strawberry candies (called strawberry Bon bons) and vinyl shower curtain. Also thereís overripe strawberries, musty basement, white wine, sweet tarts, honey and a rose petal soap. The strawberry just doesnít work with the bu recipe. M - light medium body that quite drinkable. Nice thicker sweet middle. Lemony tartness throughout. T - the taste loses some if the vinyl which is great. Sweet strawberry bon bon candy and a combo of underripe tart strawberries and seriously moldy overripe berries. The palate is malty sweet with some honey, vegetal notes, rose petal soap. The end is lemony sweet with sweet tarts, and a hint of astringent and vinyl. Very little wine and oak. Lingering lactic acid. O - a perfectly reasonable sour, but not anywhere near the level of the other bus.
