A - pours a nice watermelon cherry cider red with absolutely zero head. S - jammy grape juice leads the nose. Grape jelly and white grape juice come to mind. Mouldering strawberries and quite lactic yogurt. Musty barrel type notes. Nose has some sweet white zin. M - some spritzy carb and a medium body. Light lactic tartness lead to a malty middle and drying end. T - the jammy grape juice nose give way to a more subtle taste. Characteristics of merlot; graphite black cherries, raspberry and plum show first. Some notes of the Tempranillo show through; leather, cherry and red bell peppers. The palate shows the malty jammy fruity grape character. End is the dryer tobacco, leather and black cherry followed by overripe strawberry and yogurt. O - better than the merlot version. I really like a good wine sour

Bottle @ GT’s Cat Cabana. Thanks, GT. Ruby red pour with a white head. Some definite sediment in the bottle as evidenced by later pours. Nose of berry and cherry. Lots of red grape and spicy oak. Slightly sugary, but a decent amount of citric acidity. Flavor has a lot of lemon, berry, and red grape. A bit of jam and sweet red wine. Slightly spicy, almost woody character to it. Maybe a bit of seltzer.

Poured from bottle to glass. Red hue with fizzy pink head that dissipated immediately. Aroma is lactic, grape, acetic, straw, oak. Mouthfeel is refreshing with a light body and zesty carbonation. Taste is dry throughout with a nice sourness extending through the finish. Overall this is a really nice brew and has dried up a bit since I first had it at the release.

Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a cloudy dark pink with medium frothy off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong oak, funk, and grape. Medium mouthfeel with a nice tart grape and light wheat, very good.

Hilarous abv for a "berliner weisse". At any rate though whatever it is it is tart, slightly funky, with fruitiness and some sour acidity.

Bottle shared by Douglas Thanks! A: Gusher out the gate. Watermelon red with no head to speak of. Lacing. N: Vinous grape, straw, grapefruit, spruce, cherry, leather, tobacco, dirt, funk, mint. T: Lactic acid/ sweet-tart profile similar to that of Cascade beers. M: Light body, big carbonation. O: Good beer with an interesting flavor profile that mostly works. I wish this wasn’t one-dimensional on the tastebuds, but it was one of the better beers of the night.

750 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy pink color with a small white head. Great fruity vinous nose. Rich sour, dusty, vinous, very deep showcase of the fruit.
