Bottle: Thanks, Nolan. Frosty, rich red & velvet colored body, burnt copper edges with a slightly pink tinted head that is gone before it has time to be admired. Aroma of spicy, ripe cherry skins, sweet-tart sourness, mild lacto, warm oak, a little green apple. Nice cherry pie filling flavor up front, just a touch of underlying sweetness. Hint of cinnamon-like spice during mid-palate. Transitions from sweet to more tart & acidic near the finish; cherry skin, red grape, & a touch of lemon. Good amount of tannins from the oak barrels with a slight, damp barnyard twinge. Another exceedingly solid beer from De Garde.

This is soo good. Pours a gorgeous reddish brown. Aroma is hard core sour cherries and oak. Taste is off the charts, puckering sourness immediately and a long cherry oak linger. Slow slip this one and enjoy

Salmoniform (657) - Sweet Home, Oregon, USA - AUG 2, 2014
Poured from tap to glass. Hazy brown reddish hue with creamy off white head that held a ring. Aroma is lactic, cherries, straw, acetic, oak, lemon. Mouthfeel is fantastic with a medium light body and crisp carbonation. Taste is dry sweet with tart sourness throughout. Overall this is an amazingly fantastic Kreik.

PhillyCraft (3231) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 26, 2014
At ALs, pours cranberry, notes of vinous funk, sour bruin, light rust in aroma, sour cherry, cranberry, and light acidic polish. Good but a little too acidic and spicy oak forward.
