Augustijn55 (82), Izegem, Belgium Sep 7, 2006 Gold color, simply but a very nice beer.
Hazy. Medium head. Looks fine. Taste is malty sweet again, yeast and some spices. Some bitterness. Jerre (1755), Waregem, Belgium Aug 27, 2006 Updated: Sep 1, 2009Bootle, 33 cl.
One of my favorites from this brewery. Hazy yellow coloured. White head, that dies quickly. Aroma citrusy, yeast, malt and bit spice.
Medium body.
Fresh. Bland flavour. Light fruity and light spiced. Good hopbitterness. harrisoni (6703), Ashford, Kent, England Apr 11, 2006 33cl bottle. Deep gold/orange colour with thin white head. Lovely intense hop malt aroma. Really nice agressive grapefruit and tangerine with plenty of juicy malt in the mouth. Pleasing hoppy finish with sweet citrus fruit tangerine and mandarin. Really good beer. Hits my taste hot spots hammenlind (738), Sundbyberg, Sweden Sep 11, 2005 Hazy pale yellow, thick white head. Sweet, fruity, lemony nose. Spicy, flowery, malty flavour with notes of vanilla. A basic blond. rickgordon (3285), Göteborg, Sweden Sep 8, 2005 Bottled, sampled at Delirium Café, Göteborg.
Cloudy pale yellow. Fresh, dewy nose with notes of citrus and vanilla. Flowery and fairly malty with low acidic notes. Good balance but a bit one-dimensional. Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 25, 2005 Updated: Jun 6, 2005(Bottle 33 cl) Small and reasonably new Belgian brewery. I got this "Blond" from "Belgisk Bryg" in Emdrup. But it wasn’t for sale because of the large flaky sediments of yeast that lies at the bottom and creates doubt whether this beer is "off". As soon as the cap is off this beer fizzes extremely and floats out of the bottle. As far as flavour goes, this is still a delicious, soft blond ale with distinct sweetness and a hint of sourness. But something is definitely wrong.. 210103 jbrus (4835), Delft, Netherlands Apr 24, 2005 Bottled. Fruity, sweet and a little yeasty aroma. Light hazy, golden color, beige head, very nice lace. Sweet, light bitter, fruity, apple, apricot. Sparkling, good balance but a little thin. sayravai (3720), Helsinki, Finland Feb 4, 2005 (Bottled) Hazy golden color with floating yeast and medium, quite tight head. Quite mild, yeasty aroma. Dryish-malty, somewhat lemony-fruity and wheaty flavor with some sourness. Sweet-honeyish finish. Very smooth, medium-bodied palate. An enjoyable, smooth, easily drinkable, but maybe a bit dull brew.
