This Belgian Blond pours a very hazy, yellow-gold body with over an inch of off-white head that settles to a wide ring. The nose is bready, slightly sweet, a bit grassy, and fairly spicy, with quite a dusty quality to it, as well as some juniper. It’s a malty beer, with yeasty bread and toasty bread crust, but the mildly bitter hops add a floral and somewhat grassy character, and there is a pleasant yeasty spiciness in the finish. The light-medium bodied beer is well-carbonated, but it seems that much of the carbonation goes toward generating the large head, which results in a lower than desired level of carbonation on the palate. Larger patches of lacing stick to the glass. Overall, this beer won’t be memorable, but it’s a pleasant, drinkable Blond to sip on over the course of an evening.

Golden with quite rich white head. Slite sweet aroma with citrus notes. Moderate bitterness with fruity (coriander) sweetness, bit too watery and bit too harsh bitterness in aftertaste, othrwise intersting and refreshing.

Bottle. Honey color with frothy soapy head. Nice carbonation. Aroma is a nice sour blend of lemon, slightly ripened cheese, black pepper. Taste is a little watery and Pilsener like. Reminds of biscuits. Hint of fresh mushroom in development. Melon, lime aftertaste. A little bland. Very drinkable though.

Bottle at S&G tasting. APPEARANCE: clear blond beer, small unstable white head. NOSE: wheat, zeste, oranges. Bit Duvel-like nose? TASTE: little coriander, pleasant carbonation, bit heavy maybe, pleasantly fruity. Reminds me of Duvel in a lot of ways.

Stubby bottle 33cl. Cloudy medium amber color, small frothy off-white head, dissipates quickly, thin layer remains, light lacing; aroma fruity, apricot, sourish, aniseed; taste moderate sweet and bitter, fruity notes; medium body, oily texture, spicy mouthfeel, average carbonation, finish continuation of the taste, distinctive herbal presence; the beer needs some time to open itself, not your typical Belgian blonde because of the herbal touch, but quite nice anyway.

33cl bottle from Sterk Avondverkoop. Thick white head. Hazy golden pour. Herbal afteraste. Not a bad blond beer.

Aroma of light malt, fruit, citrus, some yeast, peppery notes, light hop. Flavour is moderate sweet, with a moderate bitter finish. A bit of a run-of-the-mill Belgian ale.

Feels bit like fruit water with some yeast, light maltiness in background, some spices. Mostly sweet. Low ABV for Belgian, yet its still not very well balanced. Drinkable nothing special brew

Pretty decent, I like the fruity aroma mild mixing with malt. Taste is bit sweet and can feel more of a yeast. I like
