Ungstrup (11075), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 12, 2003 A slightly unclear dark yellow beer with a fast disappearing head. The aroma is sweet with nice ginger notes. The flavor is a round soft ginger flavor - really a great flavor for a ginger beer. It also has a nice palate. The best ginger beer I've ever had. omhper (10438), Stockholm, Sweden May 12, 2003 Bottled. Orange and cloudy with a wealth of small floaters. Light ginger aroma. Sweet and malty, and IMO a good balance between the sugar, the malt and the ginger. Original and complex interplay between malt and spices. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 1, 2005 Updated: Jun 6, 2005(Bottle 33 cl) I believe this was De Graal’s first beer. And -atypically- it’s a ginger beer. Very beautiful, amber colour, hazy with a large amount of yeast-sediment. But it’s the completely massive head that leaves the biggest impression. It stands an inch high in the glass and never disappears completely. Unusually welldone. Ginger beer can be a mixed delight, but this might be the best I’ve ever had. The ginger adds a piquant edge to an already good ale. High carbonation. 010203 Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Aug 25, 2002 Blond, with medium bubbles; spicy yet bland aroma; malty first, then lightly gingery, and a little plasicy. yespr (6259), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 28, 2007 Updated: May 31, 200733 cL bottle. Pours golden yellow/orange with a huge white head. Aroma is light, fruity, berries and floral. Flavour is sweet candy caramel like with a mild fruity touch. Finish is rather sweet. Refreshing.
