Bottle at O’briens. Pours with a clear, golden body topped by a thin to medium thick, white head with some lacing. It’s sweet yet malty with nice notes of ginger and a little candy sugar. Light bodied and smooth.

Jul 12, 2008 I was impressed with this brew. Slight ginger flavor with a strong finish. Moderate bitterness with a good palate. Very drinkable on a nice summer evening with rib eye steak!

Jul 12, 2008 Bottle with a best before date of 5/2009. Medium sized white head that mostly diminished, floaties, spotty lacing, very little carbonation, hazy, and a pale yellow hue. The aroma was sweet, fruity, spicy notes, some ginger, and yeast. Ditto for the flavor with a semi-dry finish. The mouthfeel was tingly and this is a medium bodied beer. Quaffable, easy to driink, but very light ginger aroma and flavor IMO. Just a so-so beer for me as it is not a bad beer per se, but it did not leave me wanting to seek this one out again.

Jun 16, 2008 Light gold body with a bright white head. The aroma is dominated with the ginger. Behind that is some citrus lime and cake donuts. The taste is like flat Sprite with some light ginger. A strange brew.

Jun 16, 2008 Courtesy of Yespr. It’s hazy, golden with a small, dense head. The aroma has notes of flower, fruit and malt. The flavour has sweetness, notes of spice, malt, dry citrus and very light hints of ginger. IMO the ginger could/should have been much more pronounced.

May 11, 2008 Bottle. Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light to moderate yeasty, spicy, moderate ginger. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, and a syntetich touch. Body is medium to light, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (110408)
